Well you didn’t make that clear Kipps and I’ve not made a comment on closed periods but the point is they still released a half baked RNS - perhaps they are permitted too when it applies to an Ofgem investigation.

Kipper what are you talking about ? We read the RNS correctly but it appears to be a cut and paste from Ofgem not a comment by Capita. Something that has only been made clear thanks to Craig

That’s interesting Craig. Capital’s RNS is completely misleading as it suggests it comes from them but that’s not correct it appears from your link. The RNS should have stated that “the following is a comment from Ofgem”

So why even bother with an RNS at all ? The drop is everything to do with the RNS .

Daltry better not to allow an issue in the first place. Heads should roll if there have been breaches

The company allow themselves to be in a position where they self inflict harm. Highly annoying. Even if there is no breach why did they allow it to get to the stage of an enquiry .

That’s not what the investigation is about. It’s investigating breaches of certain clauses. Let’s not sugar coat this. I might be a capita maxi but I’m not that blinded to see when something might be an issue. This should have been prevented at all costs by the powers that be before it got to this stage, given how much in the toilet perception has been over the last few years.

The problem is Capita’s market perception is so brittle that it gets hammered harder than normal. Disappointing

Capita has said they need to see a regular sustainable FCF before a dividend but the quickest way to get more IIs involved is a dividend . I raised this point at the AGM with a senior member of the Capita team and they would not be drawn when I suggested 2027 . My view therefore is that they will start guiding a dividend over the next few months to whet the appetite with IIs . The only way its sooner than 2027 if they outperform in the next 6-9 months but that’s an opinion

Thoughts on whether it’s likely?
