Macro is a changeable metric - I have some sympathy for SK’s view however, anyone who follows election cycles knows perfectly well that incumbent parties grease the wheels. It’s coming. Starmer in government risks taking us back to 2009/2010. They can’t manage money and will almost certainly tax investors more

SK are you for real? It talks of a flattish picture which one would expect in an inflationary environment

SK for someone who is not invested you really dont give a balanced response or view do you? If the strategy involves more business from abroad it makes perfect to sense to open offices abroad whilst reducing expensive office space here!

JG-I thought there were some green shoots. I still do and I'd like to think there is a reasonable chance of an announcement at or just before the capital markets day. There are a number of firms shorting this and I really do think any material turnaround will require a significant piece of news on FCF. I am irked that this hasnt responded to the DB upgrade, whilst plummeting after the RBC downgrade. Nevertheless I am hopeful that we will see legs up in the days and weeks to come. I hope there isnt a cash call. If you look at the accounts and EOY report it appears that there are debt facilities to dip into to fund the growth

SK if you look at the history of revisions they are usually downwards- but the government keep quiet about it-any increase in jobs is normally part time or government-just look at the breakdown-they are not highly productive jobs!

@Treners thank you and much appreciated. That's my general feeling about Capita but I have more shares here than Lowden and quite frankly I'm concerned I may have been sucked in by JL and the turnaround story. I will be losing a lot of money if this doesn't recover. I do wonder whether I have made an error in judgment here . I don't have further funds to drop into this currently

@GOCPI thank you for your post. Sometimes, its difficult to know who is genuinely warning and who is mischief making for a lower price. Personally , I still cant work it out but thank you nonetheless

@Go CPI there is a debt facility which was not used which could be used for funding the cuts. It’s in the 2023 report .

i accept the **** show so far but you are making judgments based on very little tangible information for the current financial year which is now entering its fifth months. we have had a couple of big telecoms wins and there is a big cost cutting drive supposedly occurring. this could switcheroo really quickly. even a realistic prospect of a switcheroo will set this off

Savage Im not certain you are understanding Capita completely.

1. We have long term contracts

2. We are looking abroad to diversify

3. Companies and institutions prefer to outsource to someone they can trust as it costs them less and allows them to concentrate on their core businesses

I would also point out that growth figures are an average for each subsection .

Finally 1.7% is not booming. The US's debt is increasing by about 3 trillion a year. That debt has to get serviced

So tell me why the AGM is seeking to re-elect the same individuals that have overseen this steep decline?
