The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
A review commissioned by the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care

We all know why this has been produced.

Recognise software development as a central
feature of all good work with data. UKRI/
NIHR should provide open, competitive,
high status, standalone funding for software
projects and developers working on
health data. Universities should embrace
Research Software Engineering (RSE) as
an intellectually and academically creative
collaborative discipline, especially in health,
with realistic salaries and recognition.
I'll try again! Has this worked?

The RNS's tell us what's happening, EMHP are also clarifying by showing MW tech on their presentation. As said on Sky news "will be rolled out soon". These aren't clues, they're facts. Exciting times coming for us holders. No pain no gain.
It's all coming together bud. If some can't see it then I'm afraid it's their lose! Gonna be huge!
The transition from manual sampling to Automated has begun :)

The EMHP SARS-CoV-2 wastewater monitoring programme is being scaled back and paused at the end of March 2022. Wastewater based epidemiology is likely to be of significant importance in the future, both domestically and internationally, and we are exploring further opportunities for this technology.
Free trial but interestingly now £10 postage and packaging. Probably covers the cost of it for them.

It confuses me T.Rat. They are working towards Labskin with pigmentation. Does that mean STC doesn't work for all ethnics? Their adverts suggest it already does.
CELEBRATING INNOVATIVE COLLABORATION BETWEEN LABSKIN AND LEADING UNIVERSITIES
One major benefit of being based at a science park like York Biotech Campus is being around like-minded people who work in similar fields. The campus is an environment where there are many opportunities to share best practice and ideas, and ultimately drive forwards innovation and research and development (R&D).

3) New wastewater approach by 2040:
• monitoring and advance forecasting of localised surface water rainfall and related
pollution/wastewater stresses, including intelligent sewer technology, enabling
rapid response and/or prior action; and
• automatic monitoring and enhanced sampling of environmental water quality.
Volmer, hopefully you have evidence to support that otherwise it's worthless.
I'd say the fact you're not "terribly anxious to answer" why you keep holding is a bigger mystery, wouldn't you?
First UK Deployments of Microtox®PD Pathogen Detection Systems in UK Wastewater
Environmental Monitoring for Health Protection Post Pandemic Sensors - Integrated Solution Trial for National System of 'Sentinel' Sewage Works
Interesting to see what Andrew Singer's vision was for this and how it's playing out with MicrotoxPD
https://www.rsb.org.uk/biologist-covid-19/we-don-t-have-to-demonstrate-we-can-do-it-anymore-we-need-to-demonstrate-how-well-we-can-do-it
Dr Andrew Singer, a senior scientist at the UK’s Centre for Hydrology and Ecology, is leading the UK’s National COVID-19 Wastewater-Based Epidemiology Surveillance Programme. He hopes this NERC-funded project will lead to a national system of ‘sentinel’ sewage works which acts as an early warning system, not just for local spikes of COVID-19 but other pathogens and public health problems.
That would definitely be a bonus Volmer but even just PD on board would be fantastic as its adaption means it can locate individuals by back tracking.
There's going to be thousands of PD's available to purchase and nothing else comparable. How many would one cruise ship require, 10? I'm sure demand will be high from various sectors, cruise ships probably being a small proportion when you consider they may be used to monitor a country's wastewater plants and waterways.
Very true Stu. The public have been outraged recently by what the water companies have gotten away with over the years and are demanding change. Affording to pay shareholders dividends through dismissing the need to spend money to keep our waters clean and safe is about to backfire I believe. Currently any fines given via EA prosecutions goes to the treasury, leaving them underfunded, something else that needs to change. DV are going to rock the boat with their tech that's for sure.
I do hope so. Thanks for all the factless info you've given us today. Might give it a go myself, walk in your shoes and all that.
"Gerry's in China, I know this stuff oh and there's an order in for 4,000 PD's. you'll see fools!"
Yeah, that felt gooood. I'll leave it for you to disprove Gwoods.
Gwoods, so you did believe for a time.

RE: Engineer vs. Businessman16 Jul 2021 17:40
I sold out some time ago.
Yea, I got suckered in also. I just learn from my mistakes.
Ps. I don't like conmen
Gwoods, BT needs a CE mark granted but PD is not a product where the end user is a consumer. It is an industrial product., so does not! Please feel free to keep educating me and others on here. You didn't even know the CTM had been upgraded with AI. Get a grip man!
" DV has no certification for pd or bt so they have no product"
Shhh Gwoods, we don't want the UK gov to open the boxes and find straw!
Wacca, that's the beauty of having numerous instruments kitted out in the vans. I imagine there will be several covering each region enabling a quick response.
