Ludicrous to even consider replacing the board with Hamoodi. He'll be completely out of his depth or more likely imo, he won't even try to make a success of the company and he'll set about asset stripping the company. A 60% return on a dividend will make good any losses anyway. I will buy some more before February I expect. This proposal will hit the skids I hope. Looking forward to the investors presentation though.

yeah they have an 18.3% share of obd. vulpes is also an obd investor. they have 16% of miri who are now down about 30% from mid june when ip suddenly bought in with 14% and have just as suddenly sold down to 10%. mid june was when the **** hit the fan for odey funds. they sold their ao world funds to fraser wholesale. maybe they sold their miri stake to ip? very strange coincidence otherwise.

i think there will be a wider ripple effect than just the funds he has directly. if obd don't get rescued they're in trouble. but some investment firms have high hopes for them including diggle. so that's what i am thinking.

or it could be the other non executive director. if it's one or t'other we should get a tr1 this week.

Who invests on the basis of 'rumour or gossip'. Fundamentals and prospects based on what is in the public domain might be the best bet? The CEO told us last week that they were signing a new pharma deal. The last one is worth over £200 million. Results from the trials just reported are very good in relation to the profile of the cohort who are very sick. Not sure that people appreciate that 44% is a high standard in this context and they are already planning some modifications to improve on this.

We know there's some kind of distressed seller out there. We'll find out soon enough. Lots of them around. Hedge funds will be moving the deck chairs around to pick up bargains from the Odey funds sell off. Odey had billions in the market and they favour a lot of firms with high growth potential. It's very typical for the tr1 to use the full 4 days. I have seen one recently where there was a two week delay due to an 'administrative error'! Then a further delay before the market is informed. Mms will buy low in the meantime.

Within for business days they must inform the market. And then the brokers often take their time in passing on the Tr1. Welcome to Aim I guess. This recent fall has only just started. Wish I had waited to buy now😆

IP sold 6% of another share on my watchlist. Only told the market when they were below 10%. They're still selling that share too and have been for days since the previous TR1.

They will Tr1 once they've sold below a certain threshold. They have a lot of shares.
