Blencowe Resources: Aspiring to become one of the largest graphite producers in the world. Watch the video here.
The NHS urgently needs help where parts of the vast organisation, which are failing, have to catch up with the best performers, in a drive to improve outcomes, without the government having to put in more taxpayers’ money.
A series of informal radio addresses given by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in the 1930s. In his fireside chats, Roosevelt sought to explain his policies to the American public and to calm fears about the Great Depression.
Ideally it should involve questions from an audience, not just from an interviewer pushing a list and getting monologue replies from Ofer.
Should you be paid more money?
How healthy is the digital advertising ecosystem?
Ad-tech shares have been crushed by the Bear market, does this present a great buying opportunity?
stt1 = the dunce investor!
Unbalanced and tries to ramp up the potential but glosses over the negatives.
Still pumping EZJ on the ADVFN Tremor board.
Can you really trust his views on here?
havelot,
Basically you can plug various small dongles, Fire stick, Google, Roku, etcetera, directly into your 'traditional' TV to receive streaming, free and paid services.
Also the same dongles can be used to connect a projector, without all the wires of old.
Then there are 'smart' TV's which can connect to the internet without the need for a set-top box or streaming device.
The internet is integrated into the TV and therefore is not 'streaming' TV, as above.
havelot,
Others are more knowledgeable but free, streaming TV, using targeted advertising is what Tremor are chasing.
It is a very competitive market and different business model solutions abound.
The landscape changes rapidly and so does the technology.
I am still a positive 'glass half full' kind of person here.
'Unruly' was a good move, not sure how the relationship is to be extended?
Amobee data management platform (DMP) could be a chance for its ex-employees to shine under new leadership.
I understand its former parent - 'Singtel' - just threw money at it 'willy nilly'.
Strangely enough Amobee, although now being part of Tremor International, is shown as a wholly owned subsidiary of 'Singtel' on the website:
https://www.amobee.com/company/
OX,
Private hospitals generally have poor emergency care facilities, so if operations go very wrong they may well be rushed to the NHS which picks up the tab.
Bit without private operations the NHS would have even longer waiting lists and after all the private patients usually pay NI contributions so deserve that emergency care.
What do i think of TLY?
It is vulnerable to NHS cuts and pays a dividend that is not well covered, generates relatively huge revenues compared to profits.
There may be 'jam tomorrow' who knows!
OX,
NHS treatment is about supply and demand where the demand nearly always exceeds the supply.
As a consequence just about all NHS service, routine or urgent, is triaged, not just in A&E.
If the (triaged) waiting list time-schedule is too long and you can afford to go down the private route it is happening already.
How can you then question safety and delivery being compromised under 'privatization'?
It is already up and running, albeit in all but name, for those who can afford it.
The NHS needs to be fully privatized, which would:
Improve efficiency, cash flow, quality of staff.
Jumping the NHS queue is sensible if you can afford it and some operations, for example for enlarged prostate, bunions or varicose veins, aren’t routinely offered on the NHS unless they are quite serious.
After all dentistry has private options, we don't call it QJ, indeed to the extent that it can be difficult to find a dentist without a long waiting list for NHS work.
Ergo, the more NHS work that is moving to private (using the same doctors) can only serve to increase the NHS waiting lists.
If the NHS were privatized, we could still have universal healthcare.
We could still make sure that nobody falls through the cracks.
We would be very likely to get better health outcomes, shorter waiting times, and greater choice, for a comparable cost.
Is the low share price now rather tempting to a takeover/buyout or are we too hard to swallow
doggy,
They got rich just for mounting the Nasdaq, probably under instruction from the top four holders,
who also said 'go fill your boots with PSU's as long as you do a buyback and conduct a strategic review.
The current, smaller, buyback makes some sense considering the economic climate.
The company can't control the current economic calamity but it can take advantage.
Do we know what performance goals were met to merit the awards of said PSU vesting?
And are they ever not awarded or under what circumstances?
Comscore’s next generation cookie-free Predictive Audiences are now available for activation across Tremor International’s end-to-end platform, which encompasses the Tremor Video DSP and the Unruly SSP.
The partnership enables Tremor Video and Unruly’s advertising clients to leverage cookie-free pre-bid audience targeting across desktop, mobile and CTV.
I don't think Tremor are worried about finding cookie- free solutions as Peri seem to be touting so heavily.
CTV does not rely on cookies and Tremor have a head-start.
I suppose Peri is our nearest comparison, two small-caps in a bear market.
Both too small to get much attention.
Dispose of Putin and the world will be a much better place.
Apart from Brazil, China, N. Korea leaders and the rest of them!
Really Thordon? It was not from another chat.
Look at what stt1 replied to dynaheir under my latest post.
Is it a good business strategy to pay upfront (extend credit) for services not yet rendered?
doggy,
I presume Peri has issued preliminary results to end of September and can we expect Tremor to do likewise?
Perhaps they will just announce their November conference call date later this month and keep us guessing.
doggy,
You know the brain has two halves separated by a common conduit.
You seem more left-centric and I am the opposite.
So there are no liabilities sitting on the balance sheet - acquisitions, tax and other matters?
