RE: My key take-aways from the call so far!29 Jul 2020 12:47
And from the Q&A:
1. Microsoft is very supportive of companies like Loop as its focus is on its own Teams platform and being as flexible as possible, and allowing integration such as this is a strategic aim of Microsoft in order to be the dominant and competitive collaborative tool. In summary, its strategy is nicely aligned to this new offering from Loop. Could lead to other providers opening up more.
2. This new offering will lead to larger average Loop deal sizes.
3. CEO sounds extremely bullish.
4. It is Loop's core product that now offers this service.
5. Broader market appeal than just professional services clients. Professional services clients are still a great target market for this but new customer base will also arrive.
6. Scope for 'materially increased revenue forecasts'.
7. Lots of companies now moving out of crises mode and have more time to explore Loop's offerings. I.e. the home working shift is still in full flow for Loop. Lots of companies didn't previously switch to Loop as they were is crisis mode and didn't want to switch comms.
8. Revenue model is changing towards monthly payments rather than payment per usage. Both models have been offered by Loop historically.
9. Company will be doing some quantitative analysis at to how this will change the business. 90 % of Loop's customers use Teams and therefore the addressable market from existing clients is very large.. not to mention new customers. The numbers are big and this is why the company is making such a big deal about this.
10. Not a huge amount of investment required by Loop for this, as the core assets, knowledge, training already exists in-house. No need for fundraising and investment will come from growth.
