Tweet from PYC on 5th January : 'We can’t wait to share with you all the exciting developments we have planned for the year ahead .....' 'Here's to a year full of growth!'
One assumes we will be enlightened before too long ?
Most improbable and would not be helpful. Honesty and commitment of BOD here has never in question. The new CEO must be given an opportunity to improve shareholder value. I would like to see him buy a tranche of shares in the company to demonstrate his commitment
Viera comment two days ago :-
'I’m small long in the hope we get a new Ceo as under new leadership I believe this will be a 5 bagger plus'
I cannot see Suzy staying at the helm as this equates to more of the same. I would seriously consider investing much more with Adam in charge. Be interesting to see how this unfolds
Over the last couple of years JM has been trying to promote more awareness of the company. There has been the publication of several scientific papers by or involving PYC employees and a video presentation by PYC Consultant Hitesh Mistry on Project Optimus, which apparently was well received within the industry
The fact that PYC Chief Scientific Officer is reviewing an article relating to dose optimization (Project Optimus) would indicate that he is very well respected for his knowledge in this area. This must be a positive for PYC
Interesting that two of the authors are employees of Certara which is one of the major US companies actively involved in promoting Project Optimus

Have not come across anyone who is blaming Laura for losing them money. Be a bit childish for them to do so anyway
People need always to invest based on their own judgement and not on those of others. AIM is a minefield and people fully know this when investing
Dr Adam Hargreaves (major shareholder in Valirx) made some encouraging comments last August about Project Optimus when a member of the Valirx SAB
His reply when asked about 'What trends are you currently seeing in Biomedical Research' was :-
''In my particular domain of interest - dosing and scheduling of cancer drugs - the recent Project Optimus initiative from the FDA has increased interest in model-informed decision tools and services. Project Optimus aims to create a paradigm shift for dose optimisation and selection from the Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD) towards the finding of the Biological Effective Dose (BED) using modelling and simulation.”
Jim Millen referred to Project Optimus as Physiomics 'sweet spot'
For EUDA to make a big announcement about a potential merger and then just say nothing on the basis that investors will just assume its not happening would be bizarre in my opinion. I still expect a definitive announcement to be made
Timing of client contract signing is outside control of PYC. Proposal is sent out and then PYC must wait until decision approved by client. Always been the way here, hence you get rushes of news flow then nothing. Not a question of blame, just the way these type of businesses work
Jim did mention that Peter was starting to take on some of his responsibilities at the last presentation so I am not particularly surprised by today's announcement
I have always found Jim to be a trustworthy person who has always given 100% commitment to developing PYC. I am sure that he must be disappointed at not advancing the business further under his leadership, particularly as regards the share price, but hopefully Peter can prove himself to be a very capable successor as CEO
I think there are grounds for Valirx shareholders to have some optimism
Stella has recently taken £20k in shares (small change for her I know) in the days immediately before resigning. Would she do this if she thought that Valirx share price was going to take a dive. I don't somehow think so. She must know the probabilities of success on VAL 201 etc as well as anyone and has made a calculated decision
I suffered losses during the George and Satu days and will not be jumping in, just interested to observe how this plays out
A PYC tweet issued last week included 'We can’t wait to share with you all the exciting developments we have planned for the year ahead'. Interestingly, Valirx issued a similarly worded tweet including 'we're looking forward to showing you what we have planned for an exciting year ahead'
Probably coincidence or perhaps they use the same script writer. Could it be there is some form of closer working relationship between the two planned ?
