Following the fundraise on 13th February, the subsequent daily low point was on 11th/12th March at 0.415 and daily high point at 0.44 on several days. The price currently stands 0.435 despite decent volumes being traded in the intervening period, so remarkably steady in reality

We have had RNS news on one £100k contract post fundraise but need news on others in the near term to restore confidence and appetite for investment. I believe it will happen

I agree entirely. The quoted spread is normally set wider than the true spread thus allowing for obfuscation, deliberate or otherwise

A couple of further observations to make relating to the recent half year presentation :-

DosemeRx : PS stated that PYC were ‘in talks with Doseme around a deeper relationship beyond the current tool in development’. This would indicate to me that things are progressing very well and that a commercialisation deal on the Docetaxel tool is extremely likely in due course

Future funding : JM said ‘I think we can hit that one on the head perhaps’. PS ‘If as we expect we manage to hit the market expectations at the end of this financial year we feel our cash runway will extend potentially beyond the calendar year …. exactly how far will depend on the degree at which we can convert our strong pipeline into new contracts and also will depend on whether we can identify any specific investment opportunities’

Very solid professional presentation by Pete and Jim. Whilst there are clear signs that things are generally improving they are obviously acutely aware that growth needs to be accelerated even faster

A few extracts from the presentation which I found interesting :

In conjunction with the fundraise objectives PYC have 'started efforts to explore strategic options to accelerate growth not just in bio-statistics but across our consultancy services' and are considering 'potential acquisitions of revenue-generating businesses'. 'Discussions have already been happening with potential targets and potential partners and as we make progress with this initiative we will certainly update the market' I sense that there is a real likelihood of this happening in the next 12 months

PYC seem to be well covered for work at the moment 'the team are super busy, we have nine active projects ongoing' and 'we are in a very strong position going into the rest of this year and next year'

As regards the personalised medicine tool 'we are also in talks with Doseme around a deeper relationship beyond the current tool in development' 'As the work on the tool matures and we actually get our tool out and being used there may be some metrics we can release in terms of the size of that market which is primarily in the US .....we may put out some information about the scale of the opportunity over there which we see'. This all sounds very positive to me

Good to see healthy volumes today

Based on the RNS's issued and setting aside an element for contracts potentially delayed I would look to half year Revenue of £420k. Taking account of cost savings referred to by PYC I would suggest a loss of £200k. Obviously I am hoping for better

The company is trading in line with expectations for the year which would suggest current Revenue for year projected to be at least £750k. Obviously, more work could be contracted and start between now and year end

Pete Sargent is quite rightly under scrutiny as he has presided over a slump in share price since he took over as CEO around twelve months ago

I for one am happy to trust him and believe his recent comments of being 'super-excited' about the prospects of the company are genuine. He certainly has the cash backing to really take things forward in 2025

I was surprised by the lack of Director participation in the fund raise. I just wonder if news is imminent and this precluded them from taking part

Lets get things in perspective. The funding is going towards improving cancer treatments and outcomes, so we should all be hoping PYC is a success. The fact that the funding provides further opportunities should be welcomed

I have spent the morning taking a friend with advanced prostate cancer to hospital. Too late for him and he will need palliative care, but PYC could potentially help others

Very poor news

Whilst shareholders are always unhappy with a heavily discounted fund raise (as I was) in reality individuals who wanted to could have got out without making a loss based on the later rise in share price. Certainly not mis-management in my view, just the difficult nature of funding for AIM companies over the last year or two

I accept that projects have a habit of taking longer than anticipated, but I strongly believe that they will come good and patient shareholders will be well rewarded
