Hi itsawrap - thanks for posting the link, I wonder whether other elements for the development would be on the county planning portal and not just the district portal? But re the gas and new wrestle wells the app is already in but awaiting sign off? From memory it was the 1101 from May I think but may be incorrect. Someone weeks ago posted a link to the water cut data link, can anyone repost them please, ta
Won’t the CPR be the tool that justifies their short/medium term objectives drilling plans. I posted my thoughts last week that I didn’t expect them to drill 2nd hole in Ash now there’s some water as will need time to see how it plays out so now the pump will be installed in few weeks the gas will drop and so will the water cut and as a Brucie bonus production will be possible to increase due to lower flaring. Makes sense now not to plan for Ash 2 and concentrate on one of the others. Trouble is, if the gas export gig is no where near yet it doesn’t seem worth drill penny stone flags which is gassy? That’s why I thought maybe broughton North next
Hi Ajed - going’s points but wasn’t Barryroe about oil not gas? Oil is a no go over there but I increasingly feel that they are going to find it hard to not let Inish go ahead in the currant climate.
they are targeting farm out by year end so not long to wait if it happens. vermillon surely would we involved, any thoughts anyone whether i3e could take a chunk. hoping eog keep 30% and 2 others farminees take 35% each. amazing value here i fancy. i wonder whether they now won’t drill extra well into ashover grit and first drill broughton north first to see how water cut plays out for a few more months and 2nd drill into *****tone flags. i think there’s another media thing in a couple of weeks which might give a boost to sp. did the sp double bottom last week. if not must have been close
Just a thought - when they say they are prepared for water cut - could they utilise an ESP to lower water cut and also lower the gas produced and therefore increase oil production ? If any UOG holders will know this from the Ash wells at Abu sennan
Hi jono
Yeah, I thought they normally upload after a few days but had a reply from Anne who apologised as there had been technical issue and it would be uploaded asap which I took as a few days but as yet the issue still outstanding I guess
Off topic a bit but as BL has recently eluded to the small stake UOG have in fields operated by Egdon - well Egdon have been bought out today by HEYCO so maybe something brewing that may be positive. Also, I emailed IR yesterday as the April results webcast is not available yet on the UOG website. They replied very quickly so hopefully for those that couldn’t listen live last month will hopefully be able to access it soon.
Nice to hear confirmation that Egypt money coming In etc. First time I have heard a mention about Waddock for ages and doesn’t feature in presentations either so maybe something bubbling there. Don’t follow that closely but Egdon have recently upped their stake in Waddock so maybe something a foot.
Hi jono - have you factored into your analysis that upper end for H1 is only going to contain around 3 months of production from this well not 6 months worth so i don’t see how your numbers conclusion work? Ta
Hi jono
I’m not about to disagree with your summaries as a lot of what you said back end of the year was correct but I don’t see a raise of any sort in 2023. I think BL would put his head in a bag of bumble bees and buy a Leeds United season ticket before raising cash! Just an fyi to anyone interested as I haven’t seen a post about it. The uog website details top 15 shareholders as of May 2022 but on the last presentation there is a slide on current shareholder at at Sept 2022 and Josh had sold some between May and Sept as had some others but also Newlands had increased a bit. A bit odd why the website not updated though.
