The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Good Idea. Features in Naked Trader as a long term hold. Has excellent blue chip institutional shareholders as well.
I don't understand the lack of interest in this stock, unless people believe the commercialisation of oxp products is unlikely. I guess we have to see the share price as a separate issue from company activities...ie there's nothing out there to suggest the directors enthusiasm for a deal is misplaced, and judging by the last Rns I am hopeful of a major breakthrough in the months ahead. The potential market is massive.
Seems to have got the wobbles today. No reason after the good news we've just had.
I get gout but I've never heard of naproxin. Indometicin is my thing. Sadly at the age of 63yrs its turning into arthritis. Warning for the young... dont get old. I agree with your opinions regarding their offerings. The market is massive but unlike opti there's little interest here. Strange. Maybe oneday it'll wake up.
don't feint we are actually up a little........as if anyone would notice but a desperate fellow like me...
Share still getting battered I see. Yet this ibuprufren story from reading it looks like a big money spinner to me...unless I'm missing something.
somebody tell me why does this stock keep falling when there are more buys than sells...??
Good results and more growth to come.
Very pleasing to say the least and more growth to look forward to.
Thanks for yr post last night. I must admit American expansion is an attractive proposition for obvious reasons but wonder what competing technologies are out there. I agree that the recent spike to 300p was probably caused by traders in for a quick 20% profit but the longtermers have kept their coreholding though may add on any dips. Warren Buffett was once asked if falling share prices meant anything and he said no. I think his reply meant that if the fundementals of a business are sound the day to day market fluctuations in the medium to long run don't matter. I believe that applies here.
watching this one for a while and like many should have bought a long while ago. Back in 2011 the sp was around 10p but I'd never heard of the company until this summer. Looks like a reasonable entry price may be on the cards in the next few days. Most Aim stocks are not really investible as they never seem to make a profit, this one seems different. However one never knows how long it can keep compounding its sales, revenues and profits in the future. Any advice would be most welcome. Thanks.
Some buys in red again I see........
Trading volume even better today after that rns.......
Some good buying today despite no real movement in the sp.
More buying today plus a slight tick up..
One decent buy of 238,267 shares this 9.14 this morning shows someone believes in the story here. Last Rns seems to point at real prospects for this company unless I've misunderstood it. The market shows little sign of being impressed. Volumes everywhere seem rather low as if prospects of a possible interest rate rise in America next month is keeping investors away.
Wherever this man hides the Americans will seek his extradition as GBO operated a business on its soil. He can't hide for long. Even John Stonehouse, after throwing his clothes on an english beach, was later found in Australia. Mr Costis has left his prints all over the shop. What I want to know is where's the media in all this. Is GBO too small to interest them...???
Looks like you've won the argument on this one. Don't entirely understand why a placing would be placed at a premium to the current sp and not a discount, which is the usual sprat to catch the mackerel. Then again you seem to have an insight into market thinking on unusual stocks.
Not in this myself but watching. This company has £21m in cash worth 29.50p per share so should'nt fall lower in theory. A penny or two thrown on top is justifiable bearing in mind the advisors and institutions backing it are good. The market is simply waiting for some news regarding acquisition etc. then the sp should start to move up. If you are in this now ought to be the time to add a bit, as it can't really drop below cash value.
Well if you bought in at around 1p or less and the debt situation is resolved in R4e's favour, then I believe you are on to a possible winner here. At the current share price the risk/reward ratio is'nt quite as good. Will watch. Ftse 100 below 6k and its only monday. No wonder I fled to cash in June while you manage to find some winners, but that's what its all about.
