Smithy88.. are saying tjat even though we had an rns to say they renewed their 18month contract with triller which got announced last week via an rns. That they now released an rns on thursday to say they will be working with a global tech company a new partner might I add they stated. Is triller really..?

The UK-RTC, which was announced by the UK Government yesterday, comprises Omega, Abingdon Health Limited, BBI Solutions Limited, CIGA Healthcare Limited, and the University of Oxford (the "Parties") and was formed at the request of the UK Government to support the development and manufacturing scale-up of a COVID-19 lateral flow antibody test ("COVID-19 Rapid Test") to determine whether people have developed immunity after contracting the virus.

 

The MOU is for an initial period of six months and the Parties will collaborate to utilise their combined lateral flow test design and manufacturing expertise to optimise the design for potential accelerated scale-up to manufacturing of the COVID-19 Rapid Test.

The MOU runs out in October I would like to see a new MOU ideally by September which would show UK GOV commitment to RTC and test roll out

if we get a sales order this will go £1+ see this is the problem here.. over hyping the price.. last order we had was sengal we sold 65k test kits made 100k.. the order would have to be a significant order.. I dont see us hitting £1 by end of august .. mid end september maybe..

York-based medical device manufacturer Abingdon Health has received a key approval for its Covid-19 rapid antibody test.

The company, which is leading the UK-Rapid Test Consortium (UK-RTC), has received its CE mark, meaning the test is approved for professional use in the UK and EU.

Following the approval, the rapid test, for detection of IgG antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2 virus (Covid-19), is now available for distribution for professional use. It is now set to be mass produced, with tests to be rolled out from the end of August 2020.

Abingdon Health is aiming to produce 500,000 Covid-19 antibody tests a month from October and one million a month from January 2021.
