I think prof waffle likes to feel clever by working with the tech. Has a high opinion of it which is great but seems to have a blind spot about where money comes from.

He doesn’t see that interested in the business side, appears out of his depth. Sure we have some Nibe research agreements but nothing that generates meaningful revenue.

If the strategy is just to prove tech and keep fingers crossed that it’s recognized by a party with a big wallet then be nice to have that stated. Prof waffle said in an interview over a year ago that companies like Awacta don’t stay independent.

The covid test could have brought big revenues in. It could still make a difference but requires a market orientated helmsman/woman.

Worse case is 40 m the bank takes the company long way down the road of “hej look at this, make me an offer”. That’s what I’m holding on for and cash will last a good while.

Would prefer a therapy player rather than diagnostics. Have the feeling it’s worth more at TO buy is that right ?

Al is a share holder, he knows what is the status. Why should he care about others hate holders. What’s his downside ?

I agree they have every reason to want the company to be successful. They really want it.

Problem is they need to realize they lack talent at sales.

No matter what lack of sakes talent Prof Waffle has, he is not entirely stupid.

That we are now 18 months along the line and distribution Is still thin, makes me wonder what else is going on.

It’s obvious he wants the company to work with inventing stuff not selling it. I wouldn’t be surprised if recent video is to bulk up the confidence in therapy work in prep that diagnostics will be spun off to a company capable of selling tests. Can’t see why it would be mentioned otherwise.

DD, unwinding contracts and IPR can take months, but I can imagine bubbly is cooling in the fridge. Put it this way if that process has not started I would think someone will start taking a stage and poisoning the well for others.

Short term it would have been nice if something could have been sold. But a spin out would be ok too, but hope it carries some upside from today’s price !

I think the expectation was that the best tech is the world, which will change the market for the next 10 years plus, could have been used to generate significant revenue when the world is is desperate need of diagnostics. The fact that UK government is filled with morons, just means that the company should have played smarter. The leadership, whilst did a great job at spotting amazing tech and signing it up, they failed inn bringing it to market.

Maybe someone is in negotiation to acquire diagnostic rights, or maybe all affimer rights, but even if/with those negotiations, there must be a focus on revenue.

The board really need to move Al sideways, and bring in someone with some better commercial experience. That 12 months ago it was all "huge potential" but now it's "well the tech is proven", and we can only supply the information we have speaks volumes about his abilities.

Company is gonna be a major player in several markets or part of a bigger entity, just not with Al at the helm. I want an RNS soon, new CEO appointed.

Not sure he really cares. 45 mil and he can go play with cancer treatment which long term might be worth more.

No info to help understand why sales and distributors are thin on the ground. Could be lots of reasons, my top one being a ceo who doesn’t really know about selling and won’t take action to close that gap.

Tech is good and someone will pick it up. Some big names desperate for new pipelines.

Maybe that’s why no sales, distributor buyer in the works and would not work with other distributors, so don’t commit to deals.

It’s a stretch but in next 12 months i think likely.
