What are you expecting people to say, Harry? It has all been said. Nothing happening here apart from business as usual with hopefully month-on-month increases to production till we hit the target of above 2000 on average during 2024. Words from the CEO's last RNS.

So there is nothing really to talk about. Unless you are a ramper and want an early exit and therefore post misinformation and speculation about JV partners. Again the JV talks have been sidelined to Arthur as a sign that the company is now about doing the business of oil rather than Art's old method of dangling carrots like Nigerian licences.

Stay invested and do not engage the red-neck hot heads on here is my advice.

Well, that would be highly illogical Stas. Where there is zero evidence of something like the JV other than a statement from a highly discredited x-CEO (with evidence to back up why he is discredited) about a LOI.

If you take the scientific approach which most rational people do then lack of evidence does not make something true. Rather you need to prove something with evidence in science.

So I guess in this case it depends on the weight an individual attaches to the evidence. The only evidence we have of the JV is from Art who has been proven to be a highly dubious source (Nigerian licenses and a whole host of lies). I would add that the business has specifically separated the JV talks from operations with Arthur being responsible for the JV. That to me speaks volumes.

Personally, I will keep my shares because the new CEO is giving realistic targets for production and production alone will increase the SP. I think the JV may happen but I am not banking on it because there is zero evidence of it.

I would base estimations on the production and not on a JV happening. But people are free to do what they want.

If anyone finds the above to be "ramping" or "bashing" then that is up to them. I don't see the world in black and white. I am not sure what happened to you Stas.... a look back to your posting history a few months ago shows you to be a very balanced individual. Now you seem to have lost your balance and are purely one-sided. Not a good look.

Thus - In 2024 the CEO expect the production levels to be on average above 2000. Some of you struggle with the meaning of "average" so hopefully the above explanation re-educates your basic maths skills. Production will be lower and higher than 2000 in 2024 to give the average.

Expecting production above 2000 in 2023 would therefore be HIGHLY unlikely.

Please set your expectation on productions levels in line with the CEO and you will not (hopefully) be disappointed.

COPL is a medium to long term hold. Average down if you have the funds but don't expect fireworks.

And it is just wishful thinking that any JV would land after reaching this target production levels, not based on fact.

Like I said be careful with these rampers they blow hot air out their bottoms based on self serving wishful thinking.

On a serious note: Yes now would be an excellent time to invest but only for medium and long term hold. No one is expecting this to rise in the short term.

Hold on to your shares and ignore the rampers. Have sensible expectations based on CEO given targets (2000 on AVERAGE for 2024) and the potential of a JV (but that is highly doubtful the JV will actually take place and should not be banked as a given).

Seems you have a problem with English Stas20:

So during the 2024 period the CEO targets production to be above 2000 and again ON AVERAGE. Anyone that did even GCSE maths would know that means the production will be lower than 2000 some months (early 2024) and higher on some months (hopefully by end of 2024).

The fact you need to try and ramp even black and white CEO stated targets says it all. In the bin with you and your ramping.

Stick to facts. Get your heads out the sand and stop listening to these rampers. Or don't. Your choice folks.

The more you focus on vague ambitions of a JV then you will end up very sorry. And anyway what Fish has been saying is the SP will be lower than "5p before end of DEC" and it looks like that is very much certainly going to be the case. Nobody knows for sure what s going on either with Production targets RBl or JV - Well we kind of do. The CEO said they are targeting 2000 on average for 2024. That is pretty clear. The JV though, yeah that is totally up in the air with no consequences if the endless talks fail. Had the JV been a goer then I am pretty sure it would have been signed by now.

We are just floating in the ether trying to join whatever dots we can find - yes with most on here over exaggerating the positives!
