Very well put Ruskie, vast majority of those that think it's some sort of scam are sad shorters, such as the spiel spouted by Tom Whataprat last year and even now. All holders should just block out these bot flies, look how many have crawled into this BB out of nowhere. When there is an offer for either MT or the whole of EUA, we will hear about it, and as you say, this tweet debacle has probably expedited the ongoing talks.

I hope the lawyers are working overtime with the BoD and the bidder, as the sooner that RNS lands, the quicker we can all smell the sweet scent of smoke from the shorts being incinerated and the bot flies being exterminated

Exactly, this tweet caught them mid-negotiations. If there was nothing to clarify, a simple one sentence RNS would do, rebutting the weekend's tweet. That tweet clearly had market sensitive information, looks like EUA are getting all their ducks (or bidders) in a row , otherwise why wait till today for suspension, why not suspend first thing Monday am?

Here's my tuppence worth - The tweet was on the money, took Citic and EUA by surprise though, CITIC have lined up a bidder and engagement letter is signed, EUA and Citic were not ready to declare this but the tweet on the weekend has forced their hand, hence the suspension. If the tweet was off the mark, a simple rebuttal or denial yesterday from EUA would have sufficed. There's definitely developments behind the scenes, hence why EUA want to clarify the relationship with CITIC, if CITIC had walked away, what's to clarify? So I think talks are progressing with bidders/buyers and I hope the shares remain suspended until there is a firm 60p plus offer on the table for EUA to announce and put out to a vote
