I sold BT too early this year, did not expect it to go to 200+, who knows, VOD could go up to 200+ too next year.

My prediction is based on last a couple of year's movement: 5% up tomorrow, then goes up slowly but steady, and reaches 141p in early June, then starts to drop in June/July. I will sell half at 140p.

If we can get Elon Musk as CEO, Vod share price will double on the news,haha

@danielh not really hope him to lie but a charismatic CEO will help the company and SP.
I just wanted to mention ,a few times in last a couple of year when BT price was dropping like a stone, there's a takeover defence or Openreach spinoff/sale news, and changed the trend.Not necessarily want VOD to do the same.

Hutchison has a lot of trouble in China, I assume it's a lot of cash in hand after sold big chunks of their investment in mainland China, let them buy us! :)

@RichTheNewbie Yes, BT CEO has lots of money, but he still invested it on BT , he has the confidence to invest big money on BT, which gives small guys like us confidence too. Also he consistently leaks some news on takeover defence, Openreach sale etc, which is nice and always gives SP a boost. LOL

VOD CEO is dull, no news, nothing. I am not immensely impressed by his weekend interview, It's been long time to hear something from him though

I dont look at chart, I dont care about the charts, I buy when I think it's good value and good chance to go up longer term.
If you like charts, buy Tesla.

Yes, I agree VOD is under valued, and this is exactly the reason I invest reasonably heavily here.
However, I think BT CEO is doing a far better job, not only from SP perspective, he reduced the cost, even pension deficit etc, also he invested millions of his own money on BT. VOD CEO is probably doing OK-ish job, nothing bad but nothing fantastic, so far.
Anyway, VOD is very under valued I think, I personally think it's more under valued than BT at their current prices.

Tbh, I think so too, he seems to try to find an excuse for poor Vod share performance to me. I don’t know if he should be fired but BT CEO has done much better job for sure. I remember last year Bt vod share prices were more or less the same, when I had position on both.
Vod share price is so low, I am in for long term

Come on ,don’t talk about Tesla please . Yes, it’s on profit, with help of government subsidies . Yes it’s growing fast, but PE grows from negative to 100+, it’s very expensive. A small misstep will cause huge drops.

You think nobody is buying Vod at this price, what you think the real worth of Vod? You think Tesla is high growth company, how much does it worth you reckon? $10 trillion?

Yes, VOD and BT are different, one thing in common, everything is negative when share prices are going down. I added some more BT at 142p, the very next day HSBC downgraded it, then DB downgraded it, I lost 6% within a week, which is a lot for a so called solid stock in just a few days . Then tide suddenly changed and I made 16% paper profit so far on the new position, I hope/think it's time for VOD to change the downward trend.
