This should be much higher right now..
Well that was a very long read but actually I have to say is better than what I expected.
Providing the well permits come through we genuinely are in quite a good position as it stands.
Nice to see the results for the re analysis are expected in June.
Likely updates
1: End of year accounts.
2: Production for April from pg-10 and 11a
Less likely updates:
3: "the big one"- decision on appeal for re-entry permits
4: Compression equipment contract
5: Seismic re-analysis results of field
At this time with this many catalysts due in the short term its definitely worth a rating of speculative buy - sell on news for me.
I agree with Gerry on this one and since I have.. I've been making more money funny enough. Held for ages waiting for the big one and it never happened so just sell the rises now and patiently wait for a low entry...
Time has also taught me that it will dip below playing price at some point.
I'm certain that Ascent will use the full 15 day prescribed period to ensure that their appeal is 100%.
I will expect that an RNS will be out next week to confirm the appeal has been submitted.
This is so important for the company to win the appeal, the future of the company depends solely on the outcome of this so very nervous times for all.
Thing is TPT - If we give up on Slovenia and start a new venture in Croatia my guess is the BOD will be "happy" to announce a fundraise for support there new direction.
I invested in Slovenia. I'm not following the BOD into another pipe dream when they haven't delivered this one yet.
Its a speculative buy at the moment with more upside to offer than downside IMO.
Many multiples of the share price on award of permits.
I was planning to cut my losses at the end of February but I personally feel this appeal is the end of the line for ARSO now. Their negative actions and breach of EU and Slovenian law is being published by many media outlets.
They is no longer any negatives press aimed at Ascent. - key indicator for me to hold.
ARSO have well and truly backed themselves into a corner..
Ascent are on the verge of becoming a major gas and oil supplier with virtually no debt and everything already in place to up the volume. The "competition" are clearly jealous of the asset and there is definitely some sort of blackmailing going on to prevent the permits being awarded as they know the re-stimulation permits will unlock the full potential of the field.
We still have not had a decision regarding the IPPC ?
We will appeal the decision on unbeatable ground really when you collate the facts... (see articles)
The question is how long will it take for the appeal to transform into the permits being granted. That is the ONE question we need to know.
