1) Someone should start up an online petition asking the UK government to provide loan guarantees to keep the ownership and future profits of this company in the UK and in the North. I think we can get over 100,000 signatures if we get shareholders, their partners, adult children, grandchildren and friends etc. to sign it. I can’t make it myself but I will sign it. 2) I encourage shareholders, their partners and adult children to write to the chairman of the Conservative party stating they as Northern voters who “leant” their vote to the Conservative party or as a conservative voter who may/will not vote again for the Conservative party we demand that the Conservative party give us back and help the Northern economy by keeping the ownership of the company in the hands of hard working voters and not in the hands of the institutions. 3) Everyone and their friends should email the PM at number 10 using this page, https://email.number10.gov.uk/ . Note: your message must be less than 1000 characters. ( yes quite absurd that it is so little!). Same as above, mention your vote and Boris’ promise to the North.

For those who think that this is a waste of time. You may be right for this company, but if tens of thousands of shareholders and their relatives and friends keep doing this for every company found in this position eventually our voice will be heard.
