Interview with SA on 29.03.22 ....SA "We have found a warehouse in Eindhoven, what we basically do is have elastic walls third party logistics partner that takes care of our storage, distribution, packaging, postage the whole lot, and that's the right way to do this at this scale, so why would I go out and get a 10,000 sq ft warehouse or a 100,000 sq ft one! So let's put that to bed."
RNS from this week
"It is also enhancing its operations to facilitate smoother and more efficient logistics and distribution by relocating the warehousing for its growing UK customer base from the Netherlands to the UK. With the expected growth into other European markets, this will allow the existing warehousing to focus on delivery across mainland Europe. "
I see this as a positive....I misread the recent RNS thinking they were closing the Dutch site and relocating "lock stock and barrel" to the UK which goes against what SA stated in March. It appears however they are actually retaining the Dutch site for the European needs and it makes sense to have a UK base for UK customers bearing in mind the red tape that must now be in place due to brexit.
