Quarterly update is due in the next two weeks. dazzy yes that does seem to be the way. The updates have shown the growing pains of a restarted mine and process facility as it is brought up to date and made more efficient. The current figures should be good but the best is yet to come as the costs are only really driven down volume of production. It is a shame the draw back in commodity value has coincided with the improved operating performance but that is very much the way it goes. MWA are in a very strong operational position in Nickel, Gold and Diamonds, all are cash generative and have potential to enhance the returns. I see value coming back to shareholders several ways; dividend next year, increased share price through a reduced share-base and increased share price through business/profit expansion. At these prices I would like to see purchases on the market by the company but they are not in a position to do that until finance for the smelter restart is delivered. Trying times.
