Maybe. This has been lining up for 18 months and I think that now we can all see where Ethernity are placed. They are market leaders. They have been tested and selected above other providers. They will have production from India that can sell everywhere except probably China where they will have Chinese production.
The market is still very small but it will increase rapidly.
How popular will a 4G - 5G scaling product be. I think that David knows very well what he is doing here.

The Company is also engaged in marketing activities directed towards the Chinese markets and has received a grant from the Israeli government for up to $185,000 in contribution of up to 50% of Ethernity's marketing activities in the region.

Ethernity's ACE-NIC100 is currently being tested by a European vendor for use in 4G Gateways and to allow operators to easily scale their performance to 5G.

Further to the licensing contract signed in September 2020 with an Indian OEM customer, the parties have agreed that the hardware manufactured by the Indian vendor incorporating the Ethernity technology can be sold by Ethernity outside of the Indian market. This is anticipated to result in additional revenues for the Company, as Ethernity will be able to market the complete product solution into new geographic markets through other channels.



The Company is receiving significant interest in its ACE-NIC100 for 5G Distributed Unit (DU) with embedded Virtual Router function, which product offering was announced on 22 October 2020. This includes multiple interactions with major server vendors and system integrators who anticipate incorporating the FPGA router data plan embedded in the ACE-NIC, into their offering.

I think that 2021 will see multiple IP licensing deals as markets start to grow. They will be regional deals to manufacture and retail specific solutions. This will allow Ethernity to concentrate on responding to the integrators and OEMs on specific installations. Each will have to be designed as a solution, some of that will be Ethernity. The integrator is like the gatekeeper and responsible for maintenance and evolution. Ethernity will respond to the integrator or OEM. The Telecom may be their own integrator in due course.

I guess what you really want is contracts in the 5G market. I don't think that there will be any. I see it as very unlikely that Ethernity will be Integrator on any 5G contracts. We'll get sales through third parties and integrators but no end to end contracts despite having end to end solutions.
The contracts we have seen are in SDN, CSR and Avionics switch. Whilst these are ACEnic-100 powered they are not where the focus is.
If Ethernity were to secure a 5G contract to deliver a private network it would really be contrary to OpenRAN philosophy.
It is sales and OEM commitment I will be looking for.

I have never done it. Got close a few times. I have declared a inside position a couple of times. Never do that again. Now I limit myself to going through Davids trash looking for the words new and contract or huge and profit on the same piece of shredded paper.

That would be a edge network. No need for data to be going back and forth to the data centre. Automated vehicles picking, pruning and watering need low latency. Sensors on the vine structure monitoring actual temperature and moisture to deliver optimal levels. Could be a private network laced to other similar or industry wide. The point of private is that it is not general but specific to the task.
Yes Ethernity would make this cheaper, faster and more efficient.

Kitlow I referred to this article last week. It shows very clear progression in the domestic Indian market. Ethernity are teamed with a domestic Telecom OEM currently for CSR deployment. This alliance will go much further over the coming years.
5G in India like most of the world is still a aspiration rather than the stable network required for the benefits beyond just a faster download. There are challenges with the spectrum and most solutions rely on a lamination of different spectrum to gain width. The numbers quoted in many articles are fake because they refer to one single spectrum. In order to transition from one tower to another and to use data hungry applications or multiple users width is required.
India has some power and environmental challenges to overcome before even large cities are able to support basic functions.
The Indian government quite rightly are insisting on Indian technology. Ethernity are now bedded into India and it promises to be a huge market.
