I wish I knew who is selling.
Can anyone be sitting on much profit at these prices? So why sell now?
It seems that any buying is always hit by agressive selling. Price seems to be put back at the end of each day.
Surely it is worth hanging on to next results? So much happening with the company and the shareprice is near historic lows. WHY SELL? Very frusgtrating...
Are these questions you are going to ask yourself at the AGM? Does that mean you are a shareholder? Are you generally positive or negative this share? Are you a long term holder hoping for a higher price or looking to get out short term on any uplift? Or do you expect the shareprice to go lower? In which case why don't you sell now? If you are not a shareholder - why do you have any questions for 1R? Are you considering buying? From your posts it does not sound like you are very optimitic about the company...
FYI, I am a longterm holder since Blinkx days; still have a lot of hope in the company thinking that if it can get it right the prize will be big and will hold until MUCH higher price. The business model I believe is highly scalable globally without significant increase in o/h. Realisitc alternatives to Google/FB etc could prove very lucrative if even taking only a small portion of the market - more targeted and measurable and higher margin.
I have faith in the BOD. If not, I would sell up and go elsewhere.
Please give your view positive or negative in RTHM.
Oh wow - a useful and interesting post at last. Thank you very much BIffa! A breath of fresh air - aaahhhhhhhhh.
Dead wood would be one way of looking at it. Of course the company has changed a lot over thelast few years with the aquisitions and it is no doubt time for the new "purchased" directors to take control. But I hope these Directors retiring or resigning are jumping off a sinking ship? What do they know/ss that we don't? The market doesn't seem to like it...
Thanks for your pointing out that exact date of results release is 10 days different from suggested date given in update. What is your point? Do you think that there has been a material change to the actual FY results as opposed to the update and its indication? Are you a shareholder? Do you think this is a sell? Are you selling? Or are you just noting it out of interest? You seem quite sure of your comments... but I assume these are purely speculation? Would really appreciate more viewpoint rather than just cut and past repeating of announcements. If you have a point - will you make it?
Thanks for posting stt1. But do yo have any view on your news? Do you think it is big news? Will it effect 1R much? Is it very relevant? Would appreciate your viewpoint as opposed to just posting links to news stories...
But this is a growth company - with huge potential upside for profit and therefore share price whereas Morrison is a mature company with a stagnant share price hereby requiring to pay a divi. But obviously the Sellers are not believing the 1R story. I wonder if they are nervous about digital advertising industry per se or have specific concerns about 1R. Getting close to year end now. When will be get an update?
The price fall does make me worried. There is so rarely smoke without fire. Who knows what?? That said the volume is very small. Tried to buy today and there are only lots of 10,000 available. I simply do not understand some people's view that the price is being "held down" for Tosca. Surely that is not possible or legal??
FT article - hedge funds bet against advertising giants. Hopefully the demise of the old model could be good for newbies like 1R? Hard to explain why share price being hammered so much. Everything seems to be coming together and yet price continues to slide. Very frustating. Hopefully 1R will not be lumped in along with all ad companies and be shorted to death as well (again!!)
I think they need to finish the DFS first. Hopefully financing will be mostly debt but no doubt some equity too.
Please can you explain - how can Tosca control the price? I just don't understand! Surely if there are willing Sellers, they might pick up more shares at today's prices - but if/when there aren't... the price will rise for prospective Buyers? I can't see how they "keep the price down..."
It is industry standard. I think it makes it easier for the market to compare mine with mine...
67% premium for CGH would be pathetic IMO. I hope they don't sell up. I would much prefer a tie in with a big Gold producer. The value will come when this mine becomes operational and I still want to be a shareholder then.
ok, so who is selling and why??????
Excuse me - but why do you think labro and his consortium NEED to buy 4.4m over next 4 weeks? Can you explain your reasoning? If I understand correctly, they have the "right" to purchase another 4.4m WITHOUT needing to trigger an automatic take over event. This was the terms of the last Rights Issue. If they are planning on a take over, then they can go on buying as much as they want as long as they want - but a take over event will ensue... Of course eventually they will own all the shares in this case. If however, they only want to buy as many as they can without trggering any such event then you are right they will attempt to pick up the remaining 4.4M within the time limit. It is my view that they want to take this mine to production and think the value will be considerably higher once they do so. But they do not need and do not want to own the whole company. With that view, they may as well get as many shares as they can at today's prices! Their buying these last few shares will not be what pushes the price up. In fact if the price shoots up they will stop buying. What will push the price up will be the announcement of a funding solution - whether that be borrowing money or a new partner buying in etc. The real value of this business is the gold in the ground and the ability to get it out. IMO DYOR
There is so much talk here of what Labro is strategising to do. Whether this or that trade is a BUY or a SELL. What clever cunning plan Martin Anderson is hatching. IMO, he wants exposure to GOLD. I certainly do. Here he has a chance to be a large part of a very young miner that happens to have shed loads of gold in the ground. He has invested in the company - he is not trading it. What the shareprice does today or tomorrow is not really relevant if you are invested here. If you are a trader... good luck to you. What any share does from day to day is impossible to predict. But if you believe that the new BOD can get together the necessary funding to bring this junior to production, then stick with it. Eventually you will be a shareholder in a company mining and pouring gold... going into an era when POG may be dramatically increasing. This is the beginning. Just my thoughts of course! DYOR.
Nice to see some shares traded today. I can understand why someone would want to BUY into this story. Very good resources in the ground. New chairman with Goldman Sacs connections. In house development stated as next step. POG likely to rise over next few years. But who is SELLING at these prices? They have sat on their shares for how long? Is it really worth selling at 10p NOW? The net proceeds must be pathetic. Why not wait and see? Or refuse to sell for less than 20p? Or 30p? Come on people. Who are you and why are you selling now after all the years?
A few disguised buyers? What do you mean? For every Sell there is a Buy? So if there have been some Sellers, there have been some Buyers surely!
Finally got a Seller? I don't understand. I think we have had one of those for many years.... What we want is continued Buyers but no Seller. Then the price will surely start to go up.
CGH currently appears in LSE list of Top Risers. Hurray!!
