POG seems to defy prediction and goes its own way, determined by supply and demand, geopolitical swings, and economics/ interest rates.

As long as GGP continues to raise it from the Paterson terra firms at significantly less cost than sale price then we should all be ok in the long run. I’m fast approaching my 8th decade so will have to decide how much longer to HOLD. I suspect kids will be the winners but I’m doing my best to use their inheritance.

I don’t know if this helps? But if you buy a new car there’s 20% VAT within the new price. ( There’s also a one off Vehicle Excise Duty Payment depending on the emissions)

If you sell the car on the following day, it won’t be worth 20%+ less because someone will be prepared to pay a bit less than the new price if that makes sense.

People don’t ask what’s going on when the SP increases by 2%. I don’t know much but I know that it’s commonly said that nothing goes up in a straight line. There’s always corrections and pull backs caused by loads of factors beyond our control.

I just read the posts and try to digest the contents while seeing the general trend and remaining hopeful and trusting of the team.

Hopefully things will swing the other way later, or in the days ahead, but there’s much more optimism posted than negative stuff.

I’ll continue to watch and listen and hopefully learn.

If you’ve been invested that long you’ll have witnessed for yourself the Ups and Downs of GGP.

You have options but only you can decide what’s best - risk v reward. You’ll never make a loss taking a profit though.

If a listed company knows something that may affect the Share Price, they are obliged to issue an RNS so that Share Holders may make an informed decision.

If a PI has a long history of providing positive information on a Company and they know something that may affect the Share Price (rightly or wrongly) - they may feel morally Obliged to share that information and their own reaction. I am grateful to such people.

It not cold on the Costa del Sol and EZJ took us here on a nearly full flight. Unfortunately their shares don’t fly as high and I don’t understand why. I have a shared interest on here but sadly getting out now for fear of poor results and the market bubble and the budget.

We are on first of 3 trips to C del Sol before March.

Very cheap flights and Airbnb at this time.

EZJ are very reliable. But Rya who I hate will fly from my home airport to Alicante now so might be tempted.

EZJ SP has to recover at some point, but there’s much uncertainty at the moment. Rachel, Putin, Cost of living all affecting decisions. Annual holiday is baked in, but there’s much uncertainty short extra trips might suffer? Golf trips and dirty weekends?

EZJ was close to full last Saturday. Nice smart crew.

Twilight bag drop at EZJ / GLA is a bonus to avoid morning queues. Smooth operation. Same journey in December for two cost £88 and a hold bag was almost the same price. Seems crazy when a “large guy” a few seats in front must have weighed more than our case.
