Would not be surprised if there is some connection between Holtec, Infosys, and various people who may benefit. Holtec are a very small company to be considered to take on this multi- billion pound, security sensitive, essential energy project. I am sure some one with a bit of forensic investigation experience could throw a little light on the possible dark under table dealings of our current government. Many may well be thinking they need new jobs soon.
LIss Truss mentioning SMR's made in Derby in all interviews this morning????
Hi Monty, thanks for the info. I held Krs with both ig and barclays. My ig shares were sorted back in Feb and was able to trade my new Cai holding with IG so fairly happy with them. Happy to wait for the xfer just want Barclays to apologise for their bad treatment of holders. All the best and sorry to be off topic. Been with Krs since start Ferrex days so it's been a long road but let's hope the officials have finally signed.. we may at last start seeing a proper return.
Hi 1 Dog and Marky,
thanks for letting me know, complaints emailed to say they were having a meeting next Wednesday to clarify the position. I have stated to them that I would like my shares xfered as they have not been able to keep their side of the deal. I also at the time last November disagreed with their position as they could not guarantee the xfer out of Barclays would happen in time for the 19th November, so really we had no choice in the matter. I have lost all my patience with them now, I was going to purchase Calidus shares with the proceeds in my IG account as soon as they sold but they have been completely incompetent so far.
The communication of Barclays has been shocking. I have been given so many excuse's but still no official corporate action notice. Your excuse is different from mine so basically points to them hiding some type of mistake or incompetence. I have never wanted them to sell my shares I just wanted the opportunity to xfer them to my IG account. My official complaint has been answered twice and then they have failed to carry out what they said they would. I am very close now to going to the ombudsman so any pressure on Barclays from fellow holders would be appreciated. All the best
Hi 1 Dog, as for you, my allocation shows at a nominal level, but they are completely silent on what the hold up actually is to them selling them. I have asked for them to xfer them or give me a certificated allocation but they seem totally unable to communicate. It may be worth you asking the question of customer services to try and put a bit of pressure on them because surely they should have updated us by now as to the actual current position....obviously up to you but it's all a bit shady to me...
Hi Everyone,
I still have not received my allocation of shares from Barclays or the funds from any sale as they said they would be selling them. The last definite communication was they would be sold by the end of August....since then they have now said they haven't done this is they still have queries over the allocation... it goes from one lie to another. Barclays complaints dept have no idea what's going on... Is anyone else with Barclays and still in limbo??? Cheers
I had some of my allocation with IG and was able to trade them from February. They seem pretty good and reasonably priced. I do however still hold some KRS with Barclays and the CAI allocation still has not been sorted. I have had lots and lots of arguments and communications and it still isn't sorted, they have issued apologies and even wine but still no action.
Is anyone else still having problems with Barclays??
I had shares with both Barclays and TXP. Barclays are still messing around but with TXP I was able to trade weeks ago.
Barclays have said it is now resolved and they are selling all of our CAI allocation, for reasons it would be too long to explain on here. When this will be I have no idea having asked on numerous occasions. I am convinced a share broker they all use as an additional nominee was playing with the share allocation and got caught out with the date problem and individual companies have been trying to get their correct allocation out of them. May be wrong but the register of the shares has said there has never been any issues from their end. All the best
Hi Tom, Barclays would only let us do this before November 19, they only gave us a few days and we had to xfer our KRS holding. It was all very strange and complicated and a bit of a mess. We do not have the option to xfer which again I would say is very suspect but I believe it's to do with who holds the shares on their behalf. I have had various arguments with their corporate team but have now given up. As soon as they sell my shares I will be buying the same amount with my IG account.
Hi Stock, yes I have some cai with Barclays and they are showing the wrong price, but spoke to them on numerous occasions and it is just a dummy line to show you how many you have. They are going to sell these and we cannot transfer or sell them, which is another issue I have had various chats about. A few staff have been really good at trying to sort this, but corporate actions have been rubbish in telling us what is going on. Not sure when they plan to sell as obviously the market is mad. The longer they hold them the better I think.
Rio Tinto and others having to stop mining in various areas, if you sort the licence Russell you may be able to help out, as long as all can be kept safe. Best get on the phone and offer your services. to preserve the company, the world will still need Manganese after this horrendous time
Managed to trade my allocation with IG but my shares with Barclays have not yet been sorted. They keep saying the registrar made a mistake in the consolidation and they are awaiting clarification. When I push them they keep apologising but not clarifying any further. I do feel that it is to do with the problem over the date of holding etc. As nominees they held for many but some obviously traded on the 20th November so those shares are in dispute and unfortunately holding everything up for all of us. Not sure whether this is correct as we are all being inconvenienced. Could really do with proper communication from the corporate teams as they just keep fobbing us off and holding our value without our control. Hopefully we will have some good news soon on the mining front.....
Well, that's funny because I had my first proper email response yesterday saying they don't know when it will be. Today they have appeared and stayed in my account. Yippee finally.....
It would seem the IT systems are a mystery and no-one actually knows what's going on, apart from some little guy in a darkened room somewhere. Perhaps now we will start to see the reward for our pain
Well I thought it was finally sorted yesterday. IG credited my account with my Calidus shares, correct amount and price etc. Then 3 hours later took them out again.....
I asked them what was going on, got a message 'corporate carried out the action then reversed the transaction' why I said, 'no idea was the reply but should be sorted in a week' Asked corporate again to contact me and explain, still waiting...
It would be great if companies could just be honest and explain..
Hi Jim, I have a suspicion that somebody somewhere in one of their subsidiaries or custodians was playing with the shares and trying to make a quick buck, thus making the ex date very important. This has obviously come to light in they do not have enough CAI shares to give out and balance to Keras holders. I may be very wrong,,, but in any circumstance they need to sort out, as if they took a risk and lost it is not our fault. We shall have to keep chasing.
