I have never even pretended to understand the science. So I find this concept of cancer cell division cycle time intriguing. Given that tumors don’t double in size overnight then I guess that the cycle time is measured in hours rather than milliseconds. In which case half life must have a bearing. Hence need for slow release mechanism.
