Agree. I’d expected SP to hover around the £1.60 - £1.70 mark today, but holding at (or even slightly above) the offer price is strange. But promising.

A long term hold this one, adding on dips. Especially happy with the board opting for a special dividend over buybacks. Quite a few of my other holdings with strong cash positions are buying back their shares, and to be honest, whilst I understand the concept, I’m not certain shareholders realise the true benefits. Might get myself a sausage roll for lunch to celebrate.

Delighted with this news. Will sit and wait for a few weeks to see if a potential counter offer emerges, but would be happy with £1.75.

Strikes me that following this thread is suffering endless complete and utter boll*ks interspersed with one or two decent moments.

Just the latest in a long line of presentations, and just like the never ending stream of PFS’s, none of it has led us anywhere so far. SP decimated, no buyer on the horizon, no funding mentioned, no strategic review news, no drills turning. But at least I get a shiny new presentation to look at, some trees planted, and some pictures of a nice artisan bakery.

With the apparent complete lack of interest in Cascabel, I’m beginning to wonder if we should just mothball it, and do a fundraiser with the sole stated intention of using the proceeds to recommence drilling the other tenements. i.e. get back to what we were once good at.

Clearly a few issues to this approach; agreement to postpone/defer the license spending commitments re Cascabel would have to be reached with Ecuador state. This could be mitigated by promised increased spend elsewhere. Then, whilst the interminable wait for something, anything, to happen regarding a suitor for Cascabel, at least our investments would be doing something. At the moment, we are just haemorrhaging cash to no end.

BBG... nobody has suggested anyone sells. Think you’ll find the long suffering long term holders (or as you call them, paid derampers) having stuck it out this far, are staying. We still believe a pay day will come, we just don’t feel the need, as you do, to mislead people.

By the way, the reason Adieu is so keen on the 7.8p figure, it’s at that point he should be £750 up on his week long investment. He’s presently about even, despite days of endlessly thinking he was about to get rich quick.

On the edge of my seat here, will covgaz’s in the 6’s, or Adieu’s 10p be proven correct..... there’s all to play for in the last 25 minutes of trading.......

So covgaz is predicting a 4.9% downside from here, whilst Roxi is predicting a 36% upside. Now I realise both are possible, yet, in the absence of news, find it strange that covgaz is the one being accused of trying to get in at a lower price! If he’d wanted to do that, there’s been plenty of opportunities in the last decade +

I forgot about the bakery and honey producing.

Obviously they’ll need more money soon. The never ending strategic review won’t write itself. We may also need to fund PFS4 soon. And don’t forget the running costs of the coffee shop.
