Bad to worse. Why not at least TRY to have raised enough working capital at the higher price last week? I’d have been interested in a 1p rights issue, as I’m sure many other holders would to avoid dilution. It’s almost as if they completely ran out of cash unexpectedly and needed it instantly to keep going. No wonder the CFO has gone.

Thanks TopLocks..... despite my ire I won’t be selling at these levels, but equally won’t be adding. It’s a put away and forget for me, with fingers crossed for the outcome you’re outlining as a possibility. Fortunate enough to have only a small stake here, so worst case scenario not too much damage done. I also feel there’s an outside chance of a bigger player picking up the brand and it’s reputational value here at a premium to current SP.

... and of all the ways to raise cash quickly, they seemingly chose the worst. Enough to get by for a couple of months only, at the expense of the SP and shareholders. It was short sighted in the extreme, and the corporate equivalent of a payday loan.

Top locks, you are correct, directors move on all the time. However, when your CFO moves on, unexpectedly, it’s almost always negatively perceived by the market. Coming hot on the heels of a ridiculous, miniscule cash raise the timing is suspicious, and couldn’t be worse.

I too am astonished at the lack of even a small tick up after that update. Funds tied up elsewhere at present, but if SP stays at this level or close when I’m ready, I’ll be adding.

HfH I know I come across as a miserable old so and so on here, but I always try to be mannerly unless seriously provoked. My hopes here are very much aligned with what is in your post, so I certainly won’t be reacting adversely to it. Look, BBG, and Red, you’re clearly both in a very big hole here. Most of us are, and under normal circumstances, being a nice guy, I would sympathise. But I’m just so very tired of the way you both react to your situation and circumstances. Ironically, the constant d1ck waving about your holdings, your salary, your misuses holdings, and questioning of others integrity just makes you both sound as though you’ve gotten yourselves in deeper than you can afford. So rather than offering me £1k that I really don’t need, use it wisely. Get yourself a wee holiday or something. Incidentally, I earn nothing. That’s £0k per month, or year. As if it’s any of your concern. And I, unlike you, could readily afford my to date misplaced investment here. I don’t need the money.

Solg will go in its entirety, it’s just a race against time. The more drawn out, the better for NM and us shareholders. I will be surprised if we are still about this time next year. I believe we have max 3-6 months to go. I’m happy for anything between £1.00-£1.50

I absolutely believe NM is shopping around both a high level PFS and BFS (both in draft format) to financiers in order to understand where they sit re financing the project. This would be part of their defence strategy to defend a low bid.

I also believe that BHP/NCM are not very happy right now....

Yes, BBG, because FN must be so delighted with the fantastic use we’ve made of the £100-£150 million they chucked at us four years ago for the feasibility study. That net smelter return on their investment never looked rosier.
