Hi. I've just now read yours in detail and can't disagree. On some Forums, there's a facility to put quoted material in italics which helps seperate 'own' from 'copied' material and we all have a tendency to post in haste sometimes - no edit function !

In the face of an expected frenzy elsewhere, I've made the same point - ''"Scancell cannot fail' - I agree that's a sweeping statement - I guess Inan's enthusiasm is based on what he feels the available science indicates. The science should succeed, all being well, if our BoD can drag it through the trials and commercial hoops !''

I agree with your 'wonders' comment on the 'science' level but I think there's room for discussion on SCLP's momentum to trials and commercials. Anyway nil desperandum.

It's a fact of life RW that change is often attractive to Folks and at 1/8 of our SP peak, that's understandable with SCLP PI's to some extent. You mention RG - you may remember that some on here were posting as being 'angry' with him for some time and I remember defending the point.

I'm not sure there's a consistent group of 'bleaters' as such - many take different views at different times.

Looks very promising having met the primary endpoint of improvement in pathological complete response rate for the combination over chemo alone. The trial will now continue to monitor recurrence free survival.

Noteworthy for a few reasons.

1) TNBC is one of the hard to treat cancers and is one of the Modi1 targets.
2) Keytruda has evolved from a late stage treatment for patients with inoperable cancer, to an adjuvant treatment (following surgery to prevent recurrence) and now looks to be about to grab the neo-adjuvant market (before surgery)so in effect will be treating every stage of cancer.
3) The combination of chemo plus checkpoint inhibitor seems to be producing some excellent results and worth noting the results announced today were regardless of PDL1 status.

No Ruck that's not hard to understand at all. Agreed 100%

Ruck you mentioned your recent troubles in passing and you have my every sympathy, as indeed has C7 over the last 7 years. Of course after some time we get to 'know' the others on the BB a little and a mention in passing of such tribulations is appropriate enough.

But more than in passing ? It's MO that the daily ins and outs in the life of any one Poster or known of cancer Patient are not relevant to the matter of an investment in Scancell. Full stop. We all understand the need to 'reach out' sometimes but an Investment BB is not the place - C7 has his Friends, Family and his BB M8's no doubt, on email. All of us have had problems at some time and many of us experiences with cancer too.

C7 you over reacted to my original comment 13/7 - ''Nicely on topic . . . . CAR-T and cancer vaccines''. And from there it goes on - the usual manipulation that I first protested about some years ago.
