The dosing of the first Patient is part of a medical process and if it 'coincides' that will be coincidental. For the Patient and Scancell, ASAP would be great.

C7 I don't want to scrap BUT the dosing of the first Patient will happen when it happens - that's a medical process I suspect. Hopefully that'll be before the AGM.

More importantly maybe, are there signs of some 'decision making' going on ?

IMHO it's hard to read anything into an earlier AGM date.
BUT - with yesterday's 'come clean' and an early AGM, is there the slightest possibility that there is a new spirit of decision facing and making going on ?

Elsewhere some Posters are extremely disappointed that we were not told that the FDA was on the 'critical path' for the UK SCIB1 Combo trial - may be BoD had particular reasons but IMO too, it looks bad. Very bad.

However it IS good that we are out of limbo and the UK trial can progress and save lives and give Scancell some great data we hope. BoD have been forced to tell us now because the Annual Report has to comment on prospects.

I wonder what Martin Dibble our Non-Exec will have to say and what his attitude is ? Whatever the wider issues, I'm glad BoD took a maybe belated decision and let's hope the trial can now proceed - asap.

And RG's previous A-Z connections are obvious but were they important now, many years later, one might wonder if A-Z are considering nano-particle delivery - following Scancell again ?

Insofaras A-Z would have been aware of Scancell's use of Ichor TriGrid in trials, 'at all' was incorrect, but it is a vast jump from that point to suggest that A-Z have done anything other than evaluate their own project and proceeded to use Ichor as their choice.

Happy to agree with your 16.49 C7 - instead of '' I doubt that Scancell was a factor at all" it would have been better if I'd posted, '' I doubt that Scancell was the major factor."

This refers - C7 Sat 15.38 - AZ's involvement is ''As a result of us proving up electroporation' and ''How else would they (AZ) know how well electroporation works? ''.

Electroporation has been around a long time and AZ will have been fully aware of electroporation generally and of the other trials that have deployed TriGrid.

I was thinking of the Patient who withdrew from the SCIB1 trial after one dose - I'm sure I remember that well enough. And it's not . . . 'corporation' C7. Myself I'd take the Ichor/TriGrid but in time, I hope nanoparticle delivery works OK - over to CRUK then atm.

RW I agree with you - Prof. Lindy is Scancell's inspiration and leading light ! Without her, Scancell would never be in this position of such amazing potential - that's not to underestimate the help and influence of her large team of extremely talented Researchers, in-house and out-house. If CRUK's SCIB2 trial with Nanoparticle delivery is successful that would be fantastic. Then it's maybe Goodbye to Ichor's TriGrid ? Although electroporation works - not all Patients fancy it and it must be a significant expense ?

ICalvert - explanation of the delay of FDA approval for SCIB1 Combo USA - I don't think we have much info. on that at all - it's in process ? Hopefully Scancell and Ichor have submitted all they can by now ! Nice weekend all.

DA, IMO if the BoD had any event or progress to report, they'd do so right away. The Annual Report reviews the Financial Year and comments on prospects. We might pick up a nuance from the words used.

However, news is welcome anytime, anyhow, anywhere !! ATB
