Re. 'not for profit' - perish the very thought ! No need to be so timerous. Notts Uni's will want some return and so will Scancell LTH - doesn't have to be the usual Pharma rip off - how about just 20% mark up ?

So if Covidity reaches that stage, direct profit will accrue, (just think of the potential volumes) PLUS the aura of a working Covidity will generate massive interest in Scancell's other platforms. And an Mcap of 'many many many' multiples as K posts.

David Evans is a great example of a more active non-Exec of course, but wasn't he Chairman ? That's a bit different. Was he an Exec Chair at some stage ?

Your 08.56 - yes this is a non-Exec role but I'd hope that Susan Davies will have some excellent insights, contacts and advice to help CH along the way . . . . a friendly ear to test ideas, maybe make a few phone calls and help set up some contacts/meetings. In my experience, some non-Execs only attend Board Meetings but some are more active - we'll see.

So with CH/JC at the helm, Vulpes, Redmile, Susan Davies and dear old RG in the background, there should be enough hands on deck for Scancell to sail across an ocean of deals ? Poetic eh ?
