not saying what you predict isnt vtrue, its just that other commods have far loftier predictions, especially if the dollar falls as it should

CCC, well that all depends on what you see as the correct value of ATM, obviously not near where it is today but we are a bit like to underground gold and silver miners, every yard is hard and rock crushing hugely expensive.

we also dont have that strong a balance sheet so its slow old going. much prefer the soft clays open pit gold mines, the operation is just scoop and filter as you know.

i think ATN will get there but its just very very slow which will accelerate once our balance sheet gets stronger and we get to bigger scale, and i'm really counting on brandenberg for the copper to hold longer term.

and tin being linked to the green so called revolution is not where i really want to be, and this applies also to kodal, not where i want to be in the future, the lithium ideas havn't really panned out, trying to ride a trend i never really believed in but made money there so no issue.

silver gold miners are almost all over 2x, platinum will follow, not sure if tin will do the same

and in some cases its getting close to 3x on gold and silver

To answer your question nesty i think the main reason (although yes AIM is dreadful on the whole) is the fact that we do tin, probably the least sexy of any metal commodity. its not really hot and never has been, despite current prices. of course that might change, even though also have some petalite

even the copper at BW is not a particularly attractive commodity, mainly because it takes a very long time and big money to build a copper mine and its one of the big losers in any recession (along with oil).

gold, silver and uranium are the current hot commods.

having said that good set of results, and if BW produces copper grades above industry norms (around 0.4%) then could get really interesting.

been following SOLG for a while, yes i want in at a lower price having been bit blindsided by that last drill result, but why cant people just say it how it is, namely that drill hole was simply OUTSTANDING, the project is great and yes is completely undervalued

Possibly russia offloading their rhodium stockpile over last 3 years, now maybe either run out or back to normal demand / supply levels

I have no idea why they quote AUD in all presentations and RNS's (yes i know they are an australian company) and i have never known a presentation download where you need to identify which country you are from ! (possibly an aussie thing). I thought the industry standard for commods was to use USD

Also presentation could be better, ownership pie chart uses diff shades of grey in places, awful

partly true the the reason for no acquisition, but i would rather go with far too well run and just not quite big enough

if you acquired SLP not quite sure how you would run it any better, which is the rational for most takeovers plus scale in which there isnt much because of the distance between deposits

they could however explore the unprospected stuff we have in the ground, but thats not really enough for a takeover

am also eyeing and watching the rhodium price which many of us got excited about few years ago and this really makes SLP fly.

Now, aside from the reactors you mentioned, and its really obvious nuclear is going to be everyones future regardless of how many stupid windmills they build, it might be apparent that the idea/rumour that russia were offloading their rhodium supplies to fund the war might be true

if so we should see a return to 8-10k for rhodium

Funny thing is i didnt ACTUALLY say the grind had anything to do with copper I did say the grind was to "improve production" but well, reading isnt your thing clearly. i'll filter you and sell up when i reach break even.

If brandenberg west has significant copper then that would be really really interesting however that is 2 years away just to be fully assessed.

only bought THS on the back of SLP but you often find with commods shares that there are 1 or 2 good ones that react correctly to commods prices and some that just dont. Nothing wrong with THS at all, they are very well run as well but any stock needs a firm following behind them, or they just dont move.

I think commods commentators put it as "highly sensitive to commods prices". some are, some are just not

the other major major problem with trading these days on the UK mkt is you get these companies that are sluggish and undervalued and in some cases blatantly held down, then get taken out on the cheap.
