If the price clears 13.5 and i think it will, are there rules against a discounted offer below mkt price and has this ever been done ?

it looks dead but the mkt willultimately decide, when it goes north then there is another easy 20% for funds to make, which they wont turn down

Exceptional presentation, clear, crisp, great colours, to the point, value jumps out

The big problem here though is the dead money while gold gets much higher, we can wait for an increased offer if gets thrown out but there is a chance it will not, so unless you have a basket of gold and can maybe afford to wait we are getting rewarded for NOTHING.

Talk of shanta going back to 11p pure nonsense, gold is going in the box and profits building though i'm sure EZ will find a way of ........

the big issue i see here is the patience of holding while gold is firm and unless you have other money to pump into a new gold miner (lets face it, either way, shanta are finished, all trust gone) you might think of selling, i know its always on my mind

Slowly and surely with behaviour like this another nail has been put in the AIM coffin, think in 5 years will be almost dead, i know i want out of almost all my AIM companies, especially those without dual foreign listings

Nesty like a few others on here was in profit, now not, but have funds available and have NO real interest at these levels.

i'm also annoyed at seeing these youtube andrada adverts for ATM. he's great at self promotion just not so great at closing deals, for whatever reason

AIM itself is not really a problem, the resources some of these companies have are sometimes amazing like ATMs, the countries are sometimes ok (namibia is great in my view) but what lets AIM down is the CEOs and as you say with the shanta example, what goes on behind the scenes and that is why there is a problem.

at 5p it shouldnt stay there but it does because of the poor way in which the strategic partner process has been conducted. they dont exactly helped themselves do they ?

i will vote no but this "fight" as you call it is from my personal position is pointless. i cant influence ANYTHING from my 180k shares and would rather not be led by this lot in the future and yes OBVIOUSLY THIS IS MASSIVELY undervalued BUT there are many many other gold producers producing that are undervalued. and funnily enough they all benefit from the same gold price.

therefore i can easily move on but will definately vote NO. investing on AIM is very precarious and once you lose trust you lose trust, its that simple.

I assume then that buying during this period is different to disclosing the first 3% and thereafter every 1% above that as this looks like a new position.

Whatever happens when the dust settles on this one, for me there will be a lot of fallout win or lose (and sadly i think they will win). the aftermath of a loss doesnt bear thinking about which makes me believe it will be a win, just the way life works sadly

anything the bod touch in the future, anything the broker is involved in and any fund that votes yes will be avoided.

i personally would rather be out anyway (albeit at a much higher price) now that i know the bod do not have our best interests at heart and never have done. so it was all fake anyway and i would rather not live the lie tbh.

if he had come out and just said "i'm offering 13.5p because i think i can get away with it" i would have slightly more respect (still negligble)

The galiano buyout of goldfields share of asanko does suggest our deal should be minimum 16p by my rough calcs

galiano will def be my preferred choise after this farce ends either way
