Up 11% still has a long way to go in recovery but hopefully they start to get back to where they were.

Toffee I agree and we are all frustrated but feeling marginally more confident after the last email… however prefer the wording on CIZ rns. They would be in talks if not they are committing fraud (not vela), sgs would be up the spout so to speak. They have so many projects on the go I don’t think they would risk telling porkies… as Martin from Excalibur said it’s still in progress and can take a long time… they cannot give timescales as these in turn can turn into missed dates. They have to let the process run.

Not saying that… that is an example… if the deal is £400 mil then would be a 5 bagger… depends on the deal.

Depends what the deal is… eg if £100 mil then the deal was we would not get any revenue until after the first £19 million (I believe) so we would have 8% of 81 million we would get £6.5 million approx. Which is brilliant returns add that to our current mc we would get an sp of approx .08

Think we have to remember that COVID won’t be going away… currently the latest variant has been rather mild. This could change in a heartbeat abs we could be back to a variant that is much worse than the delta version. They will be wanting and needing this treatment.

They must be close to releasing details about the commercialisation… hopefully see this as the turning point.

The CSR is a pivotal document as it allows our team (with SGS) to analyse fully the data and it equips us to have discussions with potential partners (who as you would expect need to see all the relevant data).

I can confirm what we said in the release, that commercialisation discussions are under way now. Due to the public status of Vela and other investors I cant share any information without releasing to the market as a whole unfortunately. Your specific question of when can we expect an update is one which actually can't be answered: some deals of this type are done in days, others can take months and it would be remiss and most likely end in disappointment to give you a date.

Suffice to say we found the results to be very good and the response to date has been very positive.

Sorry I can't be more specific but I am sure you understand the reason.

Don’t know his email… it’s a central email for vela as in eg info@vela.com so he is picking them up to respond to and not doing a very good job it would seem. Given the examples posted on here from Excalibur where they didn’t tell us anything we didn’t already know but kinda put our minds to rest stating things are progressing and we will be notified of any changes via RNS Bla Bla Bla it’s not hard to do… can’t remember the other response someone on here had from Brent on here but again we’re we all disappointed at how badly it was worded!! Anyone got JN’s email??

On a positive note it’s good to see they are taking note of what is said on here …

Why would you actually msg me that… so because I let my fellow investors know the email I sent and the response I had you have an issue with this!! You are supposed to be an upstanding director of the company!! What’s worrying is why you have an issue with me posting on an investors forum unless you are embarrassed by your response!! I would be if I was a director!! And now this!!! Truly shocking!!!

My msg to vela - Hi am sure you have had many msgs on the subject of SGS investment. It is increasingly concerning the amount of time this is taking to get commercialisation when all other COVID Treatments seem to be out there already. Think as an investor would love to know you are pushing them (SGS) on the investors behalf to get this to a good conclusion. Even though you may find a menial task might be good to hear that the board is requesting updates from SGS on progress. This one investment is why a lot of investors invested in Vela plus with the fantastic background and reputation JD has. However the SP has been in a downward spiral. To say this is out of your control is unfair… what you do as a company effects the SP. Thanks
