P.s. those that are in the slightest bit interested - today's mega deal tip from Hot Stock Rockets is.......XTR - another CB company. Lot's of money rushing into that one now - when will people learn !!!!

I know this is only of interest to a few of you but the MADC on the yearly has just given the sell signal. It's been flirting with this for quite a while. It may reverse before the end of the day but if it doesn't next week could get nasty. Make of that what you will and I could easily be wrong but stay alert and watch how Monday unfolds. It will probably tell you all you need to know.

I see your cup forming from 20th April DTG and guess your time span is for the handle to form. It's been in a strong bull run since August 18 and gold looks hot to me.

However, if you ve been round the block you know anything can happen. Still think it's ready to break to the upside which will benefit goldies but ready to stand corrected if it doesn't.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

With regard to investing. I won't be building a portfolio until 2021. The indices are in for some real pain over the coming months and then we get the possibility of a no deal brexit and all the fallout to come there, so I think we agree on the markets at least.

Let's see how it unfolds

Yes DTG. Agreed. I shorted to the down last time so I know it can go either way. My money is on up for gold though, literally as from today so we will see what happens. I'm 80% cash so not think too differently from you but I wanted a little exposure and POG fits the bill. We will see. Good luck whatever your strategy

There's a wedge forming with Gold. The FTSE did this a few weeks ago and I was expecting a break to the downside (I remember because I got burnt on a short) but broke upwards and was the start of the recent rally.

You would expect it to break and make a decent move to the upside as early as next week. Would be a handy sentiment boost for gold miners

Good Morning TBTT. I agree that it would be nice if JLP updated us on Kabwe. Even if there is a problem it would be better to know what it is and what measures are being taken to progress. Not knowing anything and casting doubt is usually worse for a company's SP imo. However it may just be the economics like you said and that during these troubled times it's just not worth processing at current metal prices. Again if they communicated this it would be clearly understood that it's just efficient company policy.

I'm sure it will all come out in time and Leon has got his head screwed on so will be taking the best options possible

If it touches 0.7p I will buy another 1.5 millions provided there is liquidity.

Everyone should have some Gold in their portfolios, either physical, ETFs or producers. POG stands to benefit exponentially out of strength in gold. Add the run up to the financials and the compelling recovery story and you have a strong case to hold, add or buy. It's still very much in an uptrend

You are right. I said the majority at 0.92 and it was more like 50% and what I had in my SIPP which wasn't much so more than 50% but majority sounds more. Apologies. I'll give you that one as you made the effort

The risks are Colin and a placing - Nothing to do with charts.
The latest RNS shows how scattered his approach is to everything.
Also I'm not 100% convinced about the Glenover sale, never was, The RNS firmed up my belief. It will be cheaper in 6 months so why buy now.
The retrace target was nothing more than a target. Sometimes it pays to wait and not waste money
