Thanks for posting Pen
Great interview and I think anyone invested here should listen to all of this. Tania was asking all the right questions imo.
1. Salt me as we assumed is 'proof of concept only' and non core business, however in his own words is a success as it's filling a market niche that hardly exists and has wide gross (or growth, I didn't quite catch it) margins. Good to hear that they are selling and making something at least with this.
2. The testing/sell cycle is typically 3 to 6 months, testing and then changing manufacturers packagind, advertising etc to introduce. There has been some impact because of Covid.
3. Asked directly if Salarius are likely to land a 'big player' which is what we all want to hear he sounded extremely optimistic. He said there are several (4-5) that are currently testing. You will have to listen yourselves but it sounds like something might drop in the non too distant. We know what that will do to the SP.
4. They are concentrating on America and Mexico now but he predicts by the end of 2021, beginning of 2022 they will be winning global contracts, in particular other South American countries but there is also interest in Asia.
5. Asked if there would be any problem scaling up he confidently says 'no' which is also good to hear.
All in all that's about as good as we can expect. Settled my nerves. Interested to hear what others think too
