I'm flommoxed, fun to say, not where you want to be as an investor. News over the year has been reasonable but not ground breaking and they must be cutting it close to the wire on the cash front. If SSER convert they'll hold over 30% and then have to bid in cash at the highest price they paid (which I would guess is way below the high of the year and upset the US fund), would they actually want to convert? so likely a further extension, but the last one was for only six months, such a short term extension made no sense. ML has previously dangled the carrot of b/e...I don't know what to make of it all.

I agree, its a disgrace. The entire point of the auction algorithim is to prevent nonsense trades going through. But then again Spoofing is supposedly illegal and the regulators are there to ensure orderly markets and adherence to corporate governance...LOL!

I wouldn't expect the next results to be good. They've already stated that in the 'shocker' of a December RNS (re change in Middle East numbers and production changes). This has gone from an exciting opp early mid last year to a nail biting, will they wont they, get the jurisdictional authorisation. I'm only still in it due to the £2m investment at 20p...

Completely agree with comments on BOD age and makeup...could do with some additional youthfulness and drive.

Good post Troy. The potential is far greater than that though. Back in Sept 23' they said that just India could add £10m revenue, way before new products started coming online. For me this has the potential of a mining co...if the deals get done! ML must be as frustrated as the shareholders with the slow pace and politics of take up. When SYM took the EU to court (5 years ago almost) they already had 40 years of research behind them. It beggars belief how many more microplastics are in the environment because of delays...

Are you sure about that watchglass…tests by independents show between 88.9 and 92.7 degredation within 18months. Interesting call though. A disappointing RNS on Friday, however, if the EU didn't quash the EPA view it would open them up again to a further case, make the EU look like they didn't have a clue when they threw out Symphonys previous compensation claim. Its only an opinion but I'd like SYM to get a litigation fund involved to deal with the EU and just get on with the other business. The only vested interests appear to be their competitors keeping SYM at bay...as the science says that no microplastics are left the EU should allow the d2w...this is political BS.

A bit like the share price I've adjusted my expectations down. The AGM statement was disappointing after the prelims, which talked about being almost break even and upcoming breakthroughs in licensing and territories. The later statement only really mentioned EU...which was a nice surprise but not the India go ahead we're looking for. They also said Q2 was light and going on about cost cutting and second half weighting...not great. I'd like to buy more but there's the aroma of things not adding up just yet. Rather than awaiting the big news flow it feels more like hoping, fingers crossed it's not back to 'lifestyle' company.

Great news, share price up accordingly. But they're going to need more cash...looks like the usual process of the city. get the price up with a series of good news and then fund raise kicks in to take it back down. Sad...not surprising PIs are fed up trying to invest themselves. Reg's and exchange need to get a grip.

Bazz, I think you should give up...its like wrestling with a bag of monkeys. Two months after the wonderful results they release a trading update which indicates that one of the board has gone OTT on the C&H's! well done for trying though.

Shame this company has got a great product, but can't do the deals. If they're burning c£375k per month, they are clean out of cash now. Any views on what order the news will flow? Will it be deal, update, funding...or funding first?

Bazzatuk, you appear to be the only one whos called this right. Two questions, do you think the large number of trades going through is just the placing of a larger seller? Do you think they are just about out of cash by now? It's lucky the board caught the man who went on a 'career break' just before he spent the whole lot.

A few months ago ML said that SYM was looking/hoping to get to Geneva for the UN conference on the subject, its on from today until the 14th. Did anyone hear whether or not they managed to get any involvement? I hope so. Its about time the world woke up to this company and their tech.
