Still listed on Sainsburys website. .. on offer at £19 but limited to a maximum of 6 per order. The gin shelves at our local Sainburys were almost empty of everything on Monday so could be a supply problem due to very high demand all round.
Local Sainsburys been out of Blackwoods Gin for s few days now. I don't know whether this is a Distil or Sainsburys problem. Empty shelves are a common sight in this store, particularly if there's an offer on, so could be a Sainsburys problem.
In the past few weeks, whether via RNSs or through the AGM, CC have been trying to convince us that H2 will see plenty of orders. It's time to deliver guys. Like others on here I believe its boom or bust within the next 6 to 12 months. I've nailed my money to the mast and topped up on Tuesday. Good luck all.
Could it be that when SS relinquished his position as CFO he only intended to remain as an non exec until the AGM, hence the reason given being length of tenure ... just a thought. Oh foroot only a small order announced today, but then every little helps.
From the Trading Update 16th Jan ..... "Initial trade response has been very positive and we are pleased to report increased listings in four major UK retailers amounting to an additional 520 retail outlets coming through in the spring." I can only speak for what I've observed in my local Sainsburys, but if Sainsburys are prepared to extend the stocking of Blackwoods in a greater range of stores whilst also increasing the number of lines of Red Leg on the shelves surely that means they are very happy with the sales. I rest my case.
