In most cases the SP of an AIM company that had been invited to join a select group with the intention of undertaking a project the size of installing smart meters throughout India, would have sky rocketed. However sentiment towards Cyan is understandably low and not helped by institutional selling, possibly resulting from Woodford contagion. All to play for, just need some concrete news of signed contracts.
Thanks Tony for the list. Amazing to think that Cyanconnode, market cap £3 million, have been invited to sit along side a select band of companies in relation to the roll out of smart meters to an Indian population of 1.34 billion. Even gaining a small percentage of that market is mouth-watering, and Prime Minister Modi is in a hurry to get it done and to upgrade the Indian power grid.
Am I right in thinking that if, and I don't believe it for one minute, JC and the BOD decided to take CC private they would have to pay the highest price per share in the last 12 months, which would be 12p last December. Of course presuming these orders do come through the SP will rocket.
Good luck all
I believe I'm like many, waiting for the news of signed contracts before throwing everything and the kitchen sink into Cyan. On October 31st they said .. in the coming weeks. I take that as between 2 and 6 weeks, a longer time scale I would define as months. Others will have their own definition. Good luck everyone.
Despite a trashed SP and miniscule market cap, Cyanconnode's products and services are deemed to be of sufficient value and importance for the company to be invited to sit at the top table with the big players. That alone says Cyanconnode are very much in the game at thus critical stage. Good luck everyone.
Yesterday someone purchased £35.5k of CyanConnode's shares and the SP barely moved. A few hundred thousand shares sold as people finally loose patience and the SP plummets. It's the £35.5k thate interests me. Could be a director buy or maybe someone in the the know?
