Trading account while attempting to sell on the ambiguous `may have RNS` got an acceptance note at 0.570 only to find it executed at 0.406 five minutes later, previous 0.570 having failed and a limit order put in without my doing,
they say I placed limit order one minute after the first failed, why would I do that as I was unaware first trade had failed normally comes up in red for failed orders mine was green for accepted.

Just cannot understand why they will not admit to their mistake, if we are both in the right it can only be an I.T. error! Anyway I hope I am a thorn in their side at the very least.

No chesh, If the ombudsman finds in my favour and the broker is found to be at fault by being negligent by running a brokerage, by lets say, inadequate I.T. systems or inadequate response to a genuine complaint ect, then the ombudsman notifies the F.C.A who can hand out heavy fines or shut them down in some cases.

As it`s quiet I will give an update from my broker regarding a limit order that took place recently without me sanctioning it so robbing me of £1400.They have sent a final decision letter stating they are right and I am wrong in my version of events, no surprise there then.
Decided to ring the ombudsman and had a good chat explaining my predicament, they were very understanding and said it should be resolved quickly as they have had these issues before, they said they were unable to provide me with the trading logs at the time,no problem they will hand them over to us so we can get to the bottom of it for you and be back in touch soon.
Here is hoping they have some clout.

I top sliced 100k shares on Friday during first half hour at 0.430 to pay towards new hall and landings stair carpet still holding 1.2 m and in profit average now at 0.320.

I said this would rise today and tomorrow, the big one next week, all could be resolved over the weekend.

Come Thursday and Friday I expect the twiteratti to be all over this pumping the sp back to the 4`s, the big rise I expect next week when this matter is resolved amicably.

Hang in there smiley, you have got to ask the question why gspc wanted the 15 day extension from the court only to pay up anyway when refused a stay,I don`t think gspc want this to go to arbitration and will try to resolve it before or just after the proceedings are to begin.
This may or may not have some bearing on the 50% fall we have witnessed over the last few trading days low and behold the sp is now recovering strongly.

Anyway I have bought the million back at these lows because I think something huge will be announced in our favour during the first week in December watch this space.

What lesson? That they can sell your shares without your instruction to do so! If that is the case smiley were all doomed to failure.

Interesting the posts today regarding the small traders losing out to the city through dubious means to say the least!
I posted last week that a trade of a million shares to sell at 0.570 was executed during Thursdays crash after the ambiguous "may have" RNS. I attempted to buy back a million within 60 seconds at 0.430, accepted, foot note said insufficient funds! I waited five minutes looked into my orders which showed 570 trade being failed and cancelled but executed five minutes later at 0.402!!!
I rang my broker and complained waited three days for their response which never came,rang back this a.m to be told I must have pressed the wrong button! Not we are running a trading platform with inadequate or up to date I.T and we will refund the £1400 due to our error.
Anyway I am awaiting official response in writing which I will take up with FSA if not satisfactory get them find and shut down all for £1400 quid you would think they would see the mistake and pay up but no its all down to greed.

They can take a running jump if they dont at least reimburse the shares as i didnt press the order at any price eject button.

by broker, sold a million shares at 570 said deal executed, tried to buy back a million at the low only to be told not enough funds.Looked back at orders 570 order failed but executed at 411 five minutes later. been in touch with broker and are looking into it, will hear from them later today or tomorrow.Shambles!

How come I can not get a live price IF I wanted to buy? You would think with the fall in share price to this level there would be some available without putting in an order to be filled, seems very odd to me.

Authorization is the key imo if it does not arrive by month end a further three months will be implemented,the major knows whats down there its all down to when BG gets its finger out, fun and games if extension is implemented.
