Ophir Energy operated across the full cycle of Upstream activity with production, development and exploration assets in Asia and exploration, appraisal and production assets in Africa.
Role: Corporate Responsibility Manager - Key role in helping Ophir grow from a private company through to a London main board listing in 2011 and onto to become a FTSE 250 company. Ophir was purchased by MedcoEnergi in early 2019.
Achievements include:
β’ Operations Management of on / offshore seismic / drilling programmes
β’ Develop Health and Safety management systems
β’ Integration of Health and Safety systems following acquisitions
β’ Align Corporate and Operational HSE systems and culture
β’ Collect and report HSE statistics including to Annual Report level
β’ Develop Leading Indicator HSE metrics
β’ Risk assessment and mitigation of key operations risks
β’ Environmental (& Social) Impact Assessments, Monitoring, CO2 emissions
β’ Ensure compliance in operations to satisfy key stakeholders up to IFC level
β’ Crisis / incident management
β’ Travel Audit and Management / Medivac planning
β’ Travel audits
