On android go to Google maps go to explore nearby, go to more, select ev charging stations, go to plug type, select ccs, chademo, tesla.

Now go to the area you live, notice the dearth of 50kw plus chargers and limited amount of fast 50kw chargers at any one site? also some of the reviews mention having to wait and another car waiting behind them. I suspect the reason for only one or two at one location is probably due to local grid connection issues.

If you wanted to have a serious fast charge setup say with 10 x 50kw outlets or larger then for now off grid would be the only solution ...

The AlkaMemTM doesn't replace the pem membrane, it has achieved almost the same current density but can use lower grade cheaper to produce hydrogen, pem is acidic and uses expensive noble metals for the electrodes. So afc's alkaline solution is a winner.

Just a middle sized 22kw 'fast' charger (not a rapid one) requires a 3 phase grid supply with earth and neutral. Rapid chargers (50kw to 120kw for a Tesla) require more investment for grid connection.

Yes it will for the forseeable but things are moving at an exponential rate in a very short time span, Afc offer a solution.

EV manufacturers are requiring rapid charge rates extending beyond 100 kw as explained in the link, requiring massive costs to upgrade the current grid system...
Hence the need for an off grid solution.
