Hi all and last post on the DB12,

Just come back from the viewing before it goes to Southhampton for final total body protection. Spent over two hours going through the technical details as they are all brand new and totally different to the DB11.

Thanks for the notes from those that like nice things.

I did note that the man in his DB11 Tymers did NOT turn up with his car or did he, owes me £1000 as our bet.

If he ownes up and pays I will kindly give the money to the Cancer appeal.

I doubt very much that he will honour the bet, but you never know 😂

Sorry nothing to do with GGP but information only, for anyone who might have been interested in coming to Harwoods at 10 I have Just been advised that my meeting at 10am today is changed until 12 noon as the team manager has been delayed.

Thought I would advise just in case as I do not want to disappoint anyone so I will there at 12 noon.

FM hey, It doesn’t matter re registration as I have a personal number plate. I put my original deposit down early July so it’s 6 month’s wait. It’s my birthday in January so hopefully it will be a great present. 🎁

I had the time of my life on my bikes, best thing i ever did and every year went on holidays with mates with bikes, great fun had by all.

Must have had a load of fun, never had the guts myself or a chance to rally well done.

I went on the Mini JCW race day at Silverstone and had a great day and once had a Goodwood race day in an old Ferrari, preferred the JCW MINI though as it was the twin turbo 2ltr which was really fast and fun.

FM hi,

The only other car with a green colour was a mini 2ltr JCW BUT IT WAS LIKE THE BRITISH RACING COLOUR But called REBEL GREEN.

Never had any problems with cars and never written one off, that was unfortunate for you for sure. How did you write off two, blimey. Ha ha

As I said earlier I have not got it yet but soon. I did not like the whole tan inside so I changed it myself with no help from anyone!

My choice was black main interior with a secondary tan and that’s what I chose myself.

I love cars as you may know and there is no way I would drive mine up a "1 in 3 in the snow it’s no good and it costs more than a small house to fix if it crashes going down the other side" I would use a Discovery in those conditions.

Where I live we hardly get any snow but sure now and again but not often.

As CCC said I also was a biker in my early days and my best was the Triumph T140 American Export Bonniville.

I admit I do love Aston Martin and my first was the 2021 Vantage Roadster Xenon Grey convertable but the roof was being constantly being covered in Sea Gull droppings so I sold it for my current 2022 hard top DB11 black Onyx.

I will never buy another Black car as they are so hard to keep clean so my next on order is the DB12 in Iridescent Emerald that I think is a stunner and fantastic car. Hopefully pick up end of this or early next week.
