Problem with Domino’s is quite frankly, it’s become extremely overpriced and offers nothing new. The brand is stale and has become quite boring. I know a lot of people who don’t order anymore as it’s so expensive, not only that people want something different these days, food habits are about trends these days and fancy instagramable foods. People take more photos of the domino boxes and less their food these days, that says something.

Whereas the likes of Greggs and cheap eats will always thrive, the good old “ meal deals “ for example.

I take it you’re in South Wales too Sparhawk? As you’re right JD will buy a couple of SimplyGym sites (the one in Cwmbran of course) so I take it you’re near?

JD Sports will have opened at least 104 gyms in 2025. 8/9 of those are opening very soon. Cwmbran being the 5th August.

Firstly I went to Go Outdoors in Bristol Cribbs, steady flow, good amount of people in and out, I purchased some new work trousers for £81.00

Secondly I went to JD Sports in Bristol Cribbs, VERY BUSY! Trainers being purchased left, right and centre!

I was quite surprised at how busy it was.

Thirdly I went to JD Sports in Merthyr, again quite busy, people in and out, JD bags everywhere so consumer confidence is there for the right brands.

The brokers are getting the best value for money for the company, their buying on the dips like anyone with some common sense would ;)

It’ll probably be 170p within the next 12 months, dontcha worry ;) Xxxx

Dwam, I’m not sure if you’re aware… Ocado has NEVER made a net profit (other than in 2016 and a few years before) JD makes near £1bn annually and is growing all the time, Ocado is quite stagnant.
