I visited Cwmbran JD Sports earlier quite a small store but crikey it was rammed! The tills were ringing, I went to the store an hour apart and both times packed, not long before the new store opens across the square too (3 floors, inc gym)

Happy to hold for 130-150p a share.

Truely a hidden gem this one. Reminds me of RR & IAG. Huge slog on those then they POPPED.

jd creates an experience, go into their go outdoors stores in york / basingstoke for example.

retail is all about experiences now.

look at river island, pea****s, new look, matalan (i know none of these are in the same sportswear sector as us as such) however none of the above create or know how to create retail experiences, hence the decline in profits/sales.

Honestly like JD is doing my nut, then I drive past their stores and see their busy and probably the best looking retailers on the UK for style/modern shop fitting.
