Berenberg Bank has said JD Sports is a BUY and has a price target of 128p - 10th April 2025

I had planned on selling earlier, if I wasn’t in a rush to get from S.Wales to Kent this morning. Typical.

Never mind, we told and potentially top up if needs much.

I bought 1,350 over the past few days, £3.40 average. £4 would give me £810 profit for two days. I’ll take that. Along with £100 from Starbucks, and £200 from Carnival.

That’s my holiday paid for!

Exciting to see where my 72,000 shares in JD Sports heads too! Up 34% over the pond at close.

Kinda glad I bought in now, ha.

The next payment is a final payment which is normally more than the interim.

So expected to be roughly double the last dividend payment. Take a look on dividend maxx and enter the number of shares in to get an idea then double it ;)

Holding 72,000 shares in JD, I did buy into Carnival Cruises and Starbucks his week too, also opened a £5,000 position in BP oil.

£100 million buy back will likely start tomorrow soooo a lot of shares about to be purchased in the coming month or two. Which will of course only drive the current share price North.

I’m 36% down.

We need to remember that a HUGE amount of this company is in private investors hands, so they’ll be giving the CEO and board a hard time too if they don’t deliver, only a small amount of shares are actively available to the personal investor like ourselves. So free float is quite small….

Mmmm my carnival cruises, BP and IAG have all gone lower in the last hour.
