When Luis Gallego was handed the top job at Spanish airline Iberia in 2013, he inherited a “disaster”. The airline was losing €1mn a day, landing just over half its planes on time, and customers were in revolt.

Two years later, Iberia was profitable and the most punctual airline in Europe, one of the most striking turnarounds in recent corporate European history. It was enough to land Gallego the top job at its owner, International Airlines Group, which owns five carriers.

I’m back in and loaded up at 115p and 116p

16,750 shares purchased in blocks of 1,000 this morning.

Just sold my complete holding in ASOS and bought JD Sports instead.

I only need to make 15p per share on JD to cover my loss on ASOS, which should be straight forward as that’s a profit making business.

I’m a little sad about ASOS, as I love the brand. But it’s done nothing for me for years now, and to be quite honest trying to get my size in anything is difficult as it’s always out of stock (size XXL)

I completely agree, Iran are moving in already, I’m just shocked the BBC aren’t commenting on this or showing anything yet.

I kept my IAG shares, I know they’ll likely go down but it is what it is, I’ve got £30,000 sat in my trade account ready to buy any dips.

I sold out at 131.60p today and took a profit of £2,526.06 on my 17,250 shares.

Fingers crossed for IAGs update tomorrow, I was half tempted to get out of that with things in Iran / Israel although I’ll hold out for the update tomorrow.

If JD retraces to 120p range I’ll buy back in.

I’d be sitting on £125,000 profit in RR if I didn’t move, I’m only up £7,000 on my IAG.

Boohoo Group's ($BOO) is negotiating a refinancing agreement with its lenders ahead of repayment deadlines over the next two years, Bloomberg News reported July 26, citing people familiar with the matter.

The unnamed sources said the lenders tapped FTI Consulting for advice amid the discussions. Meanwhile, some of the unnamed sources said Rothschild & Co. bankers are advising the British online fast-fashion retailer.

The company is negotiating deals with creditors over an unsecured revolving credit facility of 325 million pounds sterling. Of the total amount, 75 million pounds is due to be paid in 2025 and 250 million pounds is payable in 2026.

Boohoo did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.

As it’s very likely the deal with be blocked according to news just in we might aswell use the 400/500 million to pay down debt.

I’m a little surprised this still haven’t been taken private at these prices.
