Does anyone have any pointers on what may be Dr. Orbach's plan? He has cleared out the old board and the top management. Mrcus Leaver CEO survived the change of control on 17th. May but resigned on 24th! I hope that the SP is at the bottom.
Interesting times.

Who knows? I was about to bale out this am and swallow hard but someone has bought 250,000 so,on the basis that every penny helps, I will hang on. Probably the wrong decision.

I wonder. RufferllP has a good reputation and seems to be well run. Ruffer himself has a sound pedigree. I can't see that R would want to take a big risk; they do invest regardless of market situations. Could things be much worse? Accrol tells us that there are still some good clients and the new management must have got a grip so I will follow R give it a go ( but can't afford 5%!).

Good question Tommy. I couldn't find any info. recently. Been closed about five weeks I think, all as a result of cleaning. Anyone else with thoughts?

Maybe because there are no grounds for optimism. I am resigned to the loss ansd sorry for all in the same boat. Put it down to experience and move on.

My comment was in the context of the puzzlement of some over the relatively low price of the SP. I did not refer to "assets". There are always integration matters otherwise the Board would not need a transition plan.
The RNS refers to a drive for efficiencies, the need for an expanded Board and other changes plus there is a new (albeit old hand) CEO . TUPE staff don't always take to a new culture.
I have gone down with this share through very thin times and hope that we all make a decent gain but something is still dampening the price.

I concur. Predictions based on arithmetical calculations do not take account of sentiment. Perhaps some take the view that Serica has to prove that it can deliver on the integration of the acquisitions. I do not know whether or not the current SP is a fair one but am not expecting big rises.

Mmmm... This is what Aspers posted on 14 December 2016.
"This is going to be my share tip of 2017. My head is on the block and expect to see 400p by this time next year."

I am in the same boat. Can't see any improvement in business. Have a bad feeling. Maybe the share price is reachng the correct level.. There are very mixed reviews by customers.

This is what the Law Society sent out last week.
New lenders in control at Slater and Gordon plan 'solvent restructure'
Troubled Australian firm Slater and Gordon is talking to anonymous new lenders about a deal which it said could lead to its survival as a going concern. An announcement to the Australian Stock Exchange this morning disclosed that 94% of the company's debt had been sold to 'secondary debt buyers' which 'intend to implement a solvent restructure of the company'.
