Barry, I appreciate your analysis but I don't think that Mercuria does anything without careful calculation. M would not let Tailwind go into this deal unless a plan was in place. I am prepared to see what transpires I accept that I can't do much else unless I sell, but I have been many years and this share has been good to me, so I'll give Serica a chance.

Tailwind describes the proposal as a "combination". Careful choice of word, I feel. T's CFO is pencilled in to take over in nine months. Can't see this being the only change in Serica. Also, we do not yet know the names of the two new NEDs. Just has the sniff of Tailwind moving into position.

Hedin pulls out of Pendragon takeover citing challenging market conditions and outlook. Something must have changed in the past few weeks. Mr Hedin still a major shareholder so he continues to have a foothold. Agreed MC, our board treading cautiously and, so far, soundly.
