Morning Del, apologies that I was a bit sharp yesterday, but being constantly under attack from one poster was wearing as it was, yes, I phoned a number of times at the time whilst still holding the majority of my shares and always got the answering machine! I assume Keith works from home, probably in Ireland, as they don't appea to have a physical office in the UK, they just have PO Box style addresses being one building where a huge volume of companies rent the address and postal services to comply with companies house registration regs no doubt.

Easy to do you own research peeps, it's virtually impossible to get indemnity insurance for shares held in a British company if your own company is registered abroad. If you do manage to obtain it, it will come at a mahoosive premium, IF. As for teh articles of association, take a look at rns's!

And here's food for thought. I wonder what Queeld/Mispare might do? as generally speaking, you can't sell your shares without the certificate, unless there happens to be a take-over of the company, or a capital reorganization in which everybody is issued with new certificates thus in those events, you would generally receive cash proceeds, or a new certificate, without needing to produce the old certificate!!! Far from it JP, I'm sitting on nearly 2 million shares, and I'm seriously hoping for a deal, but we were waiting and debating the time of an announcement, and I honestly thought we might hear from the Board, that was all. It matters not, I'm pro a deal and what it will do for GGP and us as shareholders, and if gold stays at tops, and they start production next year, then all appears on track for a good innings!

Bearing in mind the outcome of this 'deal' if it happens, and it looks as though it will, affects us, and bearing in mind that SD has referenced it in recent interviews, I'm just wondering why the Board haven't rns'd to us that that an extension has been agreed between Newmont and Newcrest? I would have thought it to be peritent given the circumstances and how we are all waiting on tenterhooks!

Actually I will go on, just one more TOC, as you seem to have first hand knowledge, almost tantamount to insider knowledge dare I say it, almost like the Nomad would have, what's your views on the Board failing to notify shareholders about a material event in that they were in embattled litigation for quite some time before a shareholder discovered the High Court proceedings and put this in to the public domain, and the Board did nothing themselves to inform shareholders until after that had been disclosed? why didn't they inform shareholders when the High Court proceedings commenced? and then a second lot of High Court litigation, and again, they didn't think to inform shareholders, nor have they informed shareholders how it is being paid for, bearing in mind they are currently sat on £3 mill and no one knows exactly where the $35 mill went other than the Board, but it seems it is definitely not in a UK Bank for sure, and how do the company propose to pay any award if the court orders the same against the company? and surely they will not be requesting any further placings/raisings of funds come the AGM? heaven forbid!

3. should refer to nationalisation of the assets, that is what I was driving at.

1. what do you make of the russian deputy prime ministers who met at the end of December 2022, putting in their minutes of their meeting that all pgms in the State are to be kept for the domestic market place? you can find the minutes online if you look under rt.com.

2. the UK is an unfriendly territory, and Putin has to sign off any deals that involve unfriendly territories and has indicated that he will not do so, so how does you synopsis lie with that?

3. Potanin is on the sanctioned list, so NN are going nowhere presently with a British company, this is why I think they will de-list, but I agree that the assets will be transferred within the State, but it's my belief that Putin will assign them over to Rosgeo who will then probably do a deal with NN. What's your take? I'm not convinced that British shareholders will come out of this with anything to be frank.

4. they first mooted a sale of MT in March 2015, yet nothing was achieved well before the war, so 7 years up the war and no sale of any assets, and 1 year plus since the war now, so how can the Board be frustrated as you say you know first hand when they haven't managed to sell any assets within the 7 years preceding the war?

I know who he is but CTC managed to corner him and get a confession not so long back for those of you who were unsure a while back. Interesting JP, in that they state first and foremost, "to complete its due diligence and submit a binding offer." To my mind, that's a definite that a binding offer will be forthcoming. The next bit in the following paragraph is the standard get out of jail clause, but they could simply have said "to complete its due diligence" but they've added in "submit a binding offer." That's good enough for me, it looks like game on!

The fact is OTBW that there are two common denominators here, the first being Mac, Aberdeenman and whatever aliases he disguises himself with, the second is, that every share he has been involved in has had a sudden massive uplift on the sp based on virtually nothing, and dropped again like a stone, and then de-listed. Two common denominators and they are both connected to him. Coincidence? of course not.

Peace has definitely been FiXXer in a previous life. The way he uses the 5's in the word beginning with T, makes it a definite in my mind! FiXXer was around in February 2017 and was conversing with Mac who was Aberdeenman at that time.
