We've been blue today so far, which is more than can be said for a lot of shares, just look at the carnage going on. I don't think it has anything to do with the markets per se as such, it's more to do with folks getting worried that the US might pull the plug on providing weapons/ammunitions to Ukraine. That will cause further instability with no one knowing what the result might be. I don't think it's to do with gold prices generally and mining stocks as such, as investors always turn to something tangible and real when the chips are down, and gold has always been one such commodity. I would say the faster we can mine, the better right now!

If I had 35 x my investment here, I'd be in paradise! I only came in recently, but I'd find it hard to whinge about a company having made that sort of profit!

Loft, some of your money here therefore multiplied by some 35x, how can you be negative with that and more?

Loftmonkey, you started contributing here in 2015, so I assume that is around the time you first started to buy Greatland shares, am I right? If so, you are in well under the 1p, so must be hugely in profit assumedly? so I don't understand the negativity from someone who looks as though they were fortunate to start buying in at well below 1p? If you feel that negatively, wouldn't it be wise to release some shares to the market, if not all?

Matty, why the change in sentiment when SD was so bullish in both the Donald Leggett interview and the Liam interview? The worst case scenario would be if Newmont say they don't want us, but do you really think they would pass on the chance of Hav? They will obviously take the 70% belonging to Newcrest, we have no say in that, it will be automatic as a result of the buy out, but I'd imagine that they'd rather sell out than just mothball for instance, as their shareholders would surely be up in arms if something is mothballed rather than sold for whatever can be attained, and that's where SD has the advantage were that to happen, as he will undoubtedly get first shout to take the remainder, and hence why finance might be required for that very purpose may be? I can't see a downside right now, but may be I'm been blinkered, but with the drilling results so far at Hav, and Australia's reputation as a gold miner, I'd say the chances are mor pros than cons right now.

Keeping positive, the boys were here yesterday for a reason, and research will tell you why! Everyone knows that gold is the best commodity out there, time and time again. When uncertainty strikes, investors stockpile physical gold. Production could come exactly at the right time for us, in fact, I suspect SD is doing everything possible to speed the process up quicker, and Newmont I'm sure will be eager!

Yep Trowtech, there's a savage short situation going on there at the moment, BR have been accummulating, reminds me of the good old days here until it all went wrong. But BR are in play over there at the moment, and it's pretty full on!

Too right, as I said earlier, know the games and strategies well, trouble is, without the insider track it's difficult to know when they finally exit and move on. JP's, GS, BR, VE, they love AIM comps, it's rich pickings for them without too much hard work, and as I said earlier, they are paid handsomely for it, believe me. It's also Bank Holiday coming up in the UK, so the onslaught could continue at least until then, so they have their champagne breakfast weekend, by the pool, with Rodney, in the Maldives, tagged in with Dubai no doubt! If SD could pull the rug under them we would all smile, but alas, I doubt that's going to happen!

Anyone think a special divi might be on the cards for our share of HAV? This 'attack' on sp has been interesting and makes me think the big boys know something that we certainly don't obviously, they will always know before us, and the way this has been orchestrated has been a little bit different, and makes me wonder if Newmont are preparing to buy us out, special divi in play, and Greatland will be lining up new acquisitions?
