I understand your point and indeed initially thought that was the problem. No it's that their limit order system is only triggered when the published Ask (which has been sitting at 4.73p all day) is at or below the buy limit price, in this case 4.719p yet buy trades , in decent volume, frequently went through below both figures.

Perhaps I'm not explaining the issue very well. I don't believe that is the issue as I was able to purchase the shares manually, in dummy purchases, on several occasions Wed and Thurs and today I actually purchased at a price which their limit order system could not achieve. Their limit order apparently only seeks trades when the published Ask matches the buy order price. Apparently it never did however in the real world it has traded all day below my buy order limit.

I put on a limit order at 4.719p on 2/5/25 for the week. QED has frequently traded below this figure on Wed, Thurs and today. I called my broker yesterday asking why my order had not been actioned. The reply I got was not very convincing and so I asked for a call back from their dealing team. Did not receive the call back and so I phoned late on this afternoon. Their explanation was that as the Ask had traded above my limit price all day their system had not triggered in the market to seek quotes. My reply that I was disappointed that (a) I'd not received a call back as promised and (b) an artificially high Ask meant their system did not trigger, so was their system fit for purpose? I'm to get a (another!) call back regarding my complaint. Eventually I had to cancel the limit order and put the trade on manually. Mine is the 250000 buy at 15:52.

I'm one of the five so called "fake" accounts that SC filtered yesterday. If he had bothered to check he would see that I've been a member since December 2016 and posted many times exclusively about QED (and QFI). I have no connection another poster on here with the handle Old_Toby.

Genuine question have HL ever taken a Board seat in the past with other companies? I'm shooting from the hip here but I would have expected them to have a policy not to do so since they nominee accounts and not beneficial owners. Anyone with knowledge in this area?

Or it was his assessment of the information he had at the time. The trouble is his assessments of timescales etc have consistently proved to be incorrect.

This RNS assuring us all is on track, albeit delayed, plus all the positive support messaging is all well and good but there is no detail regarding the reasons for the delay(s). This is just another in a long line of delays. What I want to know is what caused them? What is now in place to assure me that there will be no more delays i.e. why should I believe Jason this time?

Well I was really expecting a considerable market reaction to the Lafayette Energy Corp (LEC) announcement late on Friday and thought we would likely get an RNS from Jason - but wrong again on both accounts. Am I missing something here?

Not if Wonga is right and they need to raise more cash before going commercial - £6M anyone? And not the wholly inaccurate timescales previously suggested by JM.

I agree with you all this is unacceptable we have been strung along to long. JM needs to come clean and explain the reasons for the repeated delays and how "imminent" can turn into 10 months without any explanation. Others have suggested he would be unable to do this because of NDA's with the third parties involved but I don't believe this to be the case. He can and must provide clear explanations to shareholders without delay.

Hotfinance14 sadly I agree but would go even further and say that JM still won't recognise that he has been played and will continue to maintain that he expects the deal to be completed "imminently".

I recall that statement too but it was just his opinion and said in rather a tentative manner so I wouldn't rule it out quite so easily.
